Tow vehicles are Suburban, Ram 2500, Ford 350, or a couple of Peterbilts. I just made my last pitch to a guy selling a 28' Haulmark Edge so if that deal don't happen probably ordering a new 24-28 this week.
That is one ugly piece of crap for $7900. They call it a Haulmark Race trailer but it has a rounded top, Haulmark Race trailers have a flat top. Painted ply wood walls and ceiling and white wheels, I think I will pass on this one. I can order a real Haulmark Race trailer with the Edge pkg...
I've been looking for a used enclosed trailer with no luck. Whats your opinion of the 24' Haulmark Edge trailers. Any other trailers I should consider. I also looked at Pace but am leaning to the the Haulmark. I plan to order a trailer in a week or two.
The key words in your comment is, FROM WHAT I HEARD. Do the math. On my Suburban it will go 435 mi. on 30 gal. of E-85 and will run 510 mi. on 30 gal. reg fuel. E-85 only runs .85% as far but the cost of the E-85 is less. Price of gas today is 2.69 so .85% of that would be 2.28 for a break...
I'm looking for a front tow hook or strap, any suggestions. I like the Woodhouse strap. Anyone know of any others that work with a front splitter. Anyone make their own?
I just listed my car cover for sale in the classifieds and just had an idea. I have a cover for a coupe and now I have an Aero coupe. I was wondering if an upholstery shop could cut a slit in the cover so the wing would stick out.
I went to a local car show today and had a good time and had lots of great comments on my car. They parked a black 05 Vette next to me and the owner of that car said to me oh crap they had to put me next to a Viper. He was a real nice guy but I felt a little bad for him because all day I heard...
I've had a few Satin Stretch Cover Kings and they are very soft and fit like a glove. I have a black one for a coupe I might sell, its been on the car 5 times.
As far as repairs I'd send it to 5D Collision in Champaign Illinois. I just had some work done there and seen cars from all over. He was delivering one back to Texas last Sat. and another was to arrive from Georgia soon. Many Vipers there for repair, this guy knows Vipers. His web site is Home
