    Who wears driving shoes?

    I have a pair of Piloti's that I use for long cruises or track days. Can't say I really notice that much of a difference, but I don't consider what I have to be a pure driving shoe either. I think the people who will notice are the ones who have wide feet. I usually have the opposite problem...

    Burned a Bald spot on tires - Need Help!

    I'd stay away from them .... if you look at the date code on the tires, one is 2307 and the other is 1605. The 1605 tire is 6 yrs old and the 2307 tire is 4 yrs old. Age is as important as tread depth, especially if you managed to burn 1/2 your tread in 1 year.

    I can tell you on the accidental shift from 3 to 2, the tach needle can fly off the chart...for some reason, 100mph in 2nd isn't really a good thing.

    It seems fairly clear to me that Harley561 has no liability here....he paid the MB dealership, if he doesn't own the car, then the MB dealership owes him what he paid them. Of course, this would make to much common sense to actually be true.

    I would concur with the rest .... your battery is low, could be due to age or alternator not properly charging. A battery tender is a good thing to have. What temp is your engine at when the fan comes on? Sounds to me like you have the Roe fan kit installed and might not be properly set ...

    I've always wanted to see a 1 year after Pimp My Ride show .... with the premise that they take these junkers who people can't afford to upkeep and bling them out ... if the person can't afford to fix the door handle in the first place, how can they afford to replace those 20" low profiles ...

    I think what you really want to do is insure the car for what it would cost to replace it .... seems like $45,000 is the going price, insuring for a little over that should cover you.
