    If you aren't prepared to replace the pistons if/when they break, don't do it. But that also applied to putting the blower on the car to start with. I cracked the top off one with the basic 5 psi kit.

    Thanks for the explanation Tom. If I'm understanding it correctly, it sounds like I must have done something a little more serious than just knock off the teeth on the 3rd gear synchro since it won't go in 1st or 2nd either.

    Tom, could stripping the synchro teeth off third have occurred by 3rd popping back out of complete engagement while I was accelerating? And would stripping those teeth also cause 1st and 2nd to be unable to engage?

    Just got back from lunching my tranny. Did a 2nd gear WOT burst from a roll, hit 3rd, accelerated hard for about 2 seconds and then I started hearing fairly loud clackety-clack sounds coming from underneath the car--bad sign. Pushed in the clutch and put her in neutral, let the clutch back out...

    Yes, that's the chrome intake tube mentioned in the ad. If you look at the other picture everything is all laid out. Adam, I think it's a good deal too, thanks. I just want to move it before I stick it all in a corner somewhere and forget about it.

    I don't think you really need lube; what you need to do is unbolt your airbox so you can move it toward the front of the car just a little. Then once you get the connectors over the throttle bodies you can move it back into place and tighten it back up.

    C'mon Stu. Over 500 rwhp and 600 rwtq with no blower, no NO2, and no heads or cam upgrades? Please. Aside from the nutty peak numbers, what would account for the torque being almost 100 greater than the hp--forget about the NO2 or something?

    What kind of exhaust "upgrade" would "work against" a supercharger? That makes no sense whatsoever. Any upgrade would have attempted to improve the flow, which would work with a supercharger. For that matter, the Roe or Paxton will work fine with the stock exhaust (though they may make a few...
