Re: Ok, since some of you will not be at VOI, here\'s our Gen3 / Ram SC ....
Question: putting all of this extra torque to the SRT-10 differential, what's the mod (or mods) to make the differential last?
I've been told these new diffs just can't take the power.
I've had a diff replaced...
Some of those RX's are bad...in my bone stock 99 GTS I sold a few months ago I could flat not get away from a guy until I was past a buck-40, and I was barely pulling ahead then. We went from an 80 roll.
Since then, I've run against several on road courses with my ACR. On the straights I...
Man...I wa starting to get excited...I thought you meant a lift kit, nerf bars, 44 in super mud thornbirds, triple shocks at each wheel...
I'm definitely selling too many lifted 4x4s
Simms...nice GTS
Regarding your 98 Ram: did you do the supercharger yourself? Cost, etc? RWHP?
One of my many trucks is a 98 Ram 1500 Sport 5.9 4x2 shortbed regular cab. 3.55 sure-grip. All stock. I'm considering modifying it.

Selling my \'04 SRT-10, Red
Ad is in VCA classifieds.
Hate to see it go, but gotta make room for a new one next year.
Or, get serious about upgrade mods to the turbo minivans...
My SRT is far more "wiggly" in the rear at 130+ than is my GTS. It was quite noticeable at a recent track event.
To be fair, the GTS has a wing and a splitter.
My last GTS was all stock. It felt a bit more stable at 130 - 140 than the SRT.
The SRT does accelerate more quickly at those...
Teddy - thanks for the video...I hope to see it in the mail soon.
JF - my ol' lady bought a gizmo that can convert the video to digital. we'll hook you up!
I'm still grinning. I rented a COMP COUPE Saturday and learned a great deal. Special thanks to Skip, Courtney, Bob and Brian (84's pit crew), and especially to Phil Goglia, my CC instructor. Phil helped me a great deal. I managed a 2:17 with that machine.
VIR is a fantastic track.
My wife...
A guarantee that your Fun Meter will be pegged, thanks to a great track (VIR) and a great event (Viper Days)!
Looking forward to working out the SRT that weekend.
You didn't kick my "azz" as it was my first track event
Go ahead...boast about besting a beginner by a few seconds!
In any event, I'll always be taller ;-)
Re: Dyno
Steve - throw in a 3.54 gear. That seems to be the best way to add grins to an SRT. I'm planning on one soon, once I find the time to yank my axle apart.
Re: HELP! I scratched\\gouged my stock SRT 10 rim
I know the feeling...gouge 3/4 in long and about 1/4 in wide...will wait until after racing season to repair.
