2.5 inch is loud and the 3 inch is very loud. I thought the 2.5 had less drone and
sounded better at higher rpm. Mount the tips forward because they will expand
about 1/2 inch when hot. Getting the side sills off can be a bit of a pain.

Will the PCM work with 91 octane? Also, I am having 3.55s put in my 09 right now.
Is this going to be a problem without the Mopar PCM? Part of your post was that the
PCM allows running 3.07 to 4.10 gears.

I remember some issues with the clutch on an 05 I had, ended up that the hyd line
was overheating because it was close to the exhaust, the local race shop moved
it out of the way and secured it, no problem after that.
I also think I remember seeing a post on this back in 06 or so.

Saw an 08 coupe, black with white stripes, on ebay a week or so ago for a buy it now in the
mid 60's and a month or so ago an ebay dealer in TX sold an 09 VOI 10 for buy it now 77K.

Thanks Juli. I tried going back to a P car but it just wasn't doing it for me.
I missed the visceral power of the Viper and the shaking and rumbling at
idle didn't hurt either.

I am about to pick up an 09 VOI 10 and have been reading a bit about the exhaust difference. Any
08/09 owners that have also owned a Gen 3 that can comment on the heat and sound difference?
I have had an 05 with RT cats and Corsa 3in Track that was way too loud and droned, even with
CCI...
The Gen 4 Corsa must be different, I had a 3in Track on an 05 and it was very loud even with CCi
3 disk inserts, at idle in the garage you couldn't hear a normal conversation.

I had the 3in Track on an 05 and it was very loud even with CCI inserts, I also had the
2.5in Track on an 04 and it was not as loud but still droned a lot at cruise.
How does this new Track sound on an 08/09?
RD
I have had both the 3" with high flow cats and the 2.5" with stock cats and they
both drone to the point that you can hardly talk to your pax. That said, the 2.5"
sounded better and was not near as loud. IMO. I also had a B&B with cross over
and it was not as loud as either and sounded good...
Anybody tried any after market light weight seats? Thinking of something like the Recaro
Pole Position or something from Sparco. Could probably loose 30 to 40 lbs form the car
and have something that fits better. Just wonder about mounting kits.

I have one of Woodhouse's Paxton Vipers with the 2 1/2 in Corsa track and stock cats, it
is a lot quieter than the 3 in Corsa and free flow cats I had on my 05, still a bit loud for the
wife, "ear plugs honey".:D

There is a company out there that has that, same company that makes a high end wheel.
Think they advertise in the VCA mag. If I find it I'll post it.

I have had 3 different systems plus the stock. Started with a Corsa Track,
no cross over, 3 inch with RT cats and it was way loud even with CCI 3 disk
inserts. Then went to B&B with the RTs and factory cross over, good sound
and not too loud, a little more heat due to the cross over but...
Thanks guys. I posted the info because I am not going to lie about it when
it comes time to sell, I figure that if I buy a car from a PCA or VCA member
it should be "as stated" and that is what I do when I sell my cars. Besides, I
got a good deal on the car when I bought it, premo with less...
