Hey Ulysses:
You are smart to pick your battles carefully. Sorry that we will not see you, but...

Where's Jeff Ellison when you need him? He can give you a great comparison (since he owns both of these cars). He's also done a decent amount of track time in both.

I agree with your assessment of the SRT-10 versus the GT-40. I still cannot understand why Chrysler would showcase the GTS Coupe version of the SRT-10 for the last few years and release the RT-10 Convertible? Had they showcased the Convertible, they would have found the exact same lukewarm...

Who makes a one piece solid carbon fiber dashboard for Vipers?
Thanks,

Dave:
I have let the SoCal VCA know about this event for 4 years now. They just didn't see it as something that they wanted to do (although I have no idea why?).
This is a great event. Like I said, I do not understand politics. What do these people need to know about these events to justify...
I'm there on Saturday only. Why the change to Sunday? I'm not into the judging. Just want to hang out and talk cars, and check out some nice rides.
See you out there. Let me know if you want to meet at Millie's before the show.
Brad
I use zip tabs to temporarily mount my plate on my car. I am not a fan of drilling holes in my front fascia to put a plate on. I would rather do the fix-it ticket route a few times a year, than to put an ugly plate mount on my car.

Do you have to pre-register for the event or can you enter just by showing up?

Pre registration is already closed. You can show up that...
Thanks everyone for the feedback. I'll stick to the standard anti-freeze solutions that the dealership puts into the Snake. I don't think that based on the feedback from Arrow that I will be using Water Wetter in the future.
Just a final note, that I tried the distilled water and Water Wetter...
CA and Byt:
Great idea to meet before the show and to rope off a section for Snakes.
I don't know why the SoCal VCA is not supporting a great event like this, so I hope that everyone gets the word out to everyone in Southern California. I'll never understand politics...
I'm up for Millie's...
Howdy Friends:
This show is a little more than a week away. How many of you will be there? It'll be nice to meet up with all of you. Do we want to meet before the show so that we can park the Snakes together? The gates open at 8 o'clock.
See you out there!

Well folks, I just got off of the phone with Todd at Arrow Racing to find out the status of my engine rebuild.
He basically told me that my engine had some of the worst corrosion that they had ever seen. The water pump was badly corroded, engine block had corrosion damage, as well as other...

Thanks for your efforts to stay on top of this important issue. Many of us in the Viper world upgraded our dashoards to add the airbg cutoff switches, so that our children could also enjoy riding iin our Vipers. After all of that effort, we find outthat the seatbelts aren't sfe for any...
Ron:
Clear Bra also makes a kit that fits on Vipers made from the 3M tape. I believe that it is made to stay on longer than one or two races (so I cannot atest as to how easy or difficult it is to remove). It covers the splash area, mirrors and front fascia.
Good luck.

Hey Vic:
What happened on this cruise? I can't believe that more people didn't get screwed up with the directions. Sorry to hear that you weren't able to hook up with them.
Brad
After talking to Arrow Racing, my car should be back just in tme for this show. It'll be nice to have the Snake back. I have been going through withdrawals.

Hi Tony and Jason:
Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, I am not looking ofr collectibles. The model that I find will be used for some prototyping of some things that we are developing for Vipers.
If you know of specific makers of RC type models, they would probably be best for my needs...
