Any Chance on Adding a Restricted Humor Section to this Site?

Joe: I don't disagree with you on the type of people that it attracts (which is why I would restrict access to it). You can keep that kind of element out if you want. I don't want this to be an area where flame wars take place (like the Supra Forum). What about a separate humor area? Thanks...

    2 Piece Performance Rotors

David: Are your rotors fixed or floating hats? It makes a big difference on the track. Thanks for your feedback. Brad

Any Chance on Adding a Restricted Humor Section to this Site?

Tony and Jay: I think that it would be a nice addition to this site, what do you guys think? I also think that we could add an "Anything Goes" area that can be for the people that aren't faint hearted. I think that is might bring back some of the feistier people to this BB. Take care, Brad

    extrude hone

Hi Guys: dan Cragin can tell you these numbers. If I remember corectly, that extrude honing your intakes won't yield much unless you engine is pretty seriously built out (especially for the money). dan recommended that I save my money for other things. Call dan on the Viper Hotline. Good luck.

Are we having capacity problems with the server?

I like Tony's old one better... (hehehe).

    HANS Device

Janni: You are absolutely right. The HANS will also not prevent a persons internal organs from shifting (like the brain) on impact, where arteries and things can be severed. What it can do is eliminate one major concern that accounts for a large number of deaths in this sport (as well as boat...

    HANS Device

Here's their web site: http://www.hansdevice.com/information-sheet.htm I would agree that if you are a serious racer, that you consider one of these. They have 3 different models available. With all of the money that you spend on modifying your cars, I would think that you would make a...

    Throttle Bodies vs Extrude Hone

Freddie: I would talk to Dan Cragin at Santa Monica Dodge. Based on what I remember from Dan, if your car is close to stock, neither of these will yield much performance. If your engine is pretty built out, you'll see more results. It's worth your dime to make the call to Dan. Good luck.

    Roll cages

Chuck: I would talk to Doug Levin for this kind of information. I'm sure that he'll know someone that can take care of you. Good luck.

    Halon vs Haltron fire extinguishers

99: I have to agree with you. I was talking to some racers who told me about Cold Fire. I understand that every crew member in NASCAR carries a can of this on their hip. On top of being effective, it will not damage your paint. This is approved by some racing clubs and series (like NASA)as...

    OIL FOR VIPER

I use Neo synthetic oils and fluids in my GTS daily driver. It seems to last much longer than Mobil 1, Royal Purple and Redline for me. I was really disappointed that the recommended intervals of these 3 oils were the same as organic oils (every 3,000 miles). Here's a link to their website...

    Water Wetter?

Greg: I've used this the Water Wetter product before in several of my cars, and it never did any damage. Since I live in Southern California, I decided not to even run antifreeze in my GTS. I use straight distilled water and add Neo Oil's Keep Cool additive (...

    Erik Messley at Daytona

Dean: I didn't see the race on TV (because I can't get SpeedVision). Can you fill in the gaps on Erik's race? It sounds like he was fighting more than the elements and fatigue in this race. Thanks, Brad <BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by...

What do you do with your Keys when you take your GTS to the beach?

Tom: I leave my car in the garage and ride my bike a few blocks to the water. This is one of the only advantages of living at the beach. The downside is that homes are tiny, and there is no parking because of all of you guys driving to the beach. By the way, for all of you in the rest of the...

    Erik Messley at Daytona

Dean: Isn't that a little ironic? I hope that Erik and his team put a good showing at Daytona. He deserves it, and is a great guy. Brad <BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by GTS Dean: You are reading it correctly. The GTS-R Erik drove last...

    Erik Messley at Daytona

Am I reading this correctly that Erik is driving a Camaro at Daytona this year? Check this out: http://www.speedvision.com/pub/articles/racing/06Road/010201b.html He's noted in the qualifying under #31. It's too bad that he isn't driving his Viper at Daytona. I wish him the very best of...

Rich, Can this be used in conjunction with an SVSi short shifter? Do you think there would be anything to gain? My first impression is probably not, but I would love to hear your feedback. Brad
