Hi Clark:
Thanks for the feedback on your meetings. I am glad to hear that this issue is not falling on deaf ears (although you would never guess that from reading this thread).
I wonder if the SRT-10's will have the Gen 1 seatbelts? It wouldn't surprise me one bit if they did.
Keep up the...
Clark:
Have you received ANY feedback from your legal counsel on this? Do we all need to get legal action against DC before they listen to us?
I guess that they just want us to go away and trade in our Vipers on a new Ford GT-40, and get out of their hair...
The lights are on, but nobody's...

As for the whole money side of things - well I've talked about that before but honestly I guess it's a corporate decision by DC and only they know the details. I see what you're saying about...
Steve:
Thanks for the "official" feedback on the Coupe (which basically means there is nothing official on it). Tell me this, if DC is so focused on profitablity of making the SRT-10 (sounds an awful lot like they are falling into the Corvette trap of newtering a car to make it more appealing...
Trey:
According to Chrysler Car & Truck News, the buzz is that the SRT-10 Coupe is schedued for '05. Here is the Car & Truck News Link .
We all know that this is subject to being changed, but at least there is a date to shoot for.
Thanks for your feedback.

But to be honest, if you saw an SRT in person next to an S2000, you would not see any similarity, I don't think. I really think...
Hi Friends:
I have posted some pics from our great cruise yesterday. The weather could not have been better, and we had a nice turnout of Vipers and Vettes.
Here is thread from the Corvette Forum:
Santa Barbara Cruise Pics
And here is the thread from CarTalkers on the cruise
It was...

You are a hard working and highly ethical individual. i would venture to say that all of the people who have been your customers, and have had the chance to sit down and meet you know that you have the highest integrity (in a ruthless business).
I am truly sorry that you must go...
Russ:
Why don't you print out 20 copies. I don't think that everyone will be doing the canyon route on the return trip. Thanks for charting out the canyon route.
See you on Sunday.
Brad
Russ:
We're taking the 101 out of the SF Valley and straight up the coast into Montecito. I am trying to finalize the reservations at a restaurant there. I should have it confirmed by Friday morning.
I'm sure that you'll have fun with Mani's Supra and the other Vettes.
Brad
We're meeting at the 76 station in Van Nuys on Ventura Blvd and the 405 freeway. Meeting time will be between 7:30 and 8 o'clock. We will be departing at 8:15.
So far no one knows of a canyon route for the return trip to LA, so it looks like we'll be sticking to the 101 freeway all the up and...
Russ:
Can you take the lead on the return leg through the canyons?
Are you talking about the Malibu Canyon route that Ross Olney did a few years back (where the F bodies banged eachother)?
See you on Sunday.
Brad

Is an ejection seat a new option on the RT's.
Where do we need to elevate this to in DC, to get some answers? Are the...
For those of you in Southern Cal:
A bunch of folks at the Corvette Forum are getting together for a cruise up the coast. We'll leave early on Sunday morning, have brunch up there in Montecito. On the return leg, some of the Vette people will be doing a canyon route on the return leg to LA...
I talked to Todd at Arrow Racing about my engine this afternoon (which has just been dyno'd and shipped). According to Todd, the driveline loss factor that they have always used is 10% (5% loss at the transmission and 5% loss at the differential).
Being that they are the people that perform...

Well I am going as a spectator on Saturday. My engine will not be in by Saurday as I expected. As great a job that Todd at Arrow Racing did to rush the engine through his shop, the local Viper Tech (who has been overworked and underpaid) will not be working on Friday to perform the...
