    I've received recommendations for 'The Works Auto Body' on Grant in Santa Clara. They did a big $$$$$ repair on a friends nearly new Z06. I believe most of their work is with higher end cars.

    My Viper dies and then restarts...could use some advice

    Had the car been sitting for an extended period before this drive? I've had this happen a couple of times with my '96, but the most it shut off was twice. After that I restarted it and drove it around for a while to charge it all up. No problems as long as I take it out regularly.

    I'll throw a guess in for 420RWHP 485RWTQ. Good luck and be sure to post back what your numbers are. I saw you car at Valaya when I was in for a few little things. I'll be really interested to see how yours does on the dyno.

    Try looking into the Northern California VCA mats. They are about $150 and are very high quality and thick. Not quite SnakeOyl level, but a better value by far and a HUGE improvement over the Mopar mats that bunch up under your pedals.

    I find that the seats in my '96 RT/10 are very comfortable. I've recently picked up a set of Recaro SRD seats for my daily driver and they are a very comfortable, supportive reclining bucket.

    I'd just like to offer up a hearty "Thank You" for the interest you are showing towards this issue and the steps you are taking. I hope a favorable resolution can be reached for Gen1 owners who may end up needing these gaskets. I may end up being one of them and I'd sure rather pay $4xx than $8xx.
