    Has anybody seen a Mercedes at a local drag strip? Does anybody in America get excited or even care when they see a Mercedes at Watkins Glen? Yes, A brand new E55 WAGON came to the strip and torched the Mustangs, Cumaros, and Vettes. There have been many SL55's do the same thing.

    SRT Lowering Kits

    The SRT does not scrape like the GenII cars. Even with EXTREME care, I still touched a lot. I'm not worried about the drop, I want 'the look', and a lower center of gravity.

    Someone will come up with something soon. Been hearing this for two years. Bill P sent me a note saying they 'may' have found a way to lower the SRT-10 at a reasonable cost. I haven't asked for more details, as I am not a nice guinea pig.

    Need a louder Bypass valve !

    I did that on my GTS. They were connected to a microphone that made the neon brighter when I revved the engine. I also had red strobes in the headlights and a red neon light in the air-box. The duct in the hood would light up red at night....A Viper night-rider(ricer)! Seemed like a cool idea...

    Amen to most of the above. While I too want to see the Viper as number one, it won't best Ford GT performance unless there are some major changes (weight or power) and that means increased cost. Probably would push the car over $100,000. I do not want to see that happen. So what we have...

    Just go to the 'Broadway at the Beach' area. There's a Nascar Cafe, a Hard Rock Cafe, Margaritaville, Key West Grill, IMAX theater, tons of outdoor shops, huge fish in the lake, an awesome aquarium (Ripleys I think) etc etc..... AND there are always cool cars cruising the strip at the Pavillion...
