I got one. It's a cool toy, but now it's in my trunk! The mount is crap, and there's nowhere to put the thing in an SRT. I do like the blue night lighting. Cops always used to ask me what that blue light on the dash was for. Seems to be very accurate for the times, way off for some runs if you...
Re: Z06 is a compelling alternative to Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Maserati and Ford GT
There was no ZR1 in 96, and with the 06 models having 500hp that's 10 years between a 96 coupe and an 06 coupe.
The 14 years comment caught my eye. Good job! '92 Viper to '06 Viper. So...
Re: Z06 is a compelling alternative to Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Maserati and Ford GT
I re-thought that statement. It should have said 'shoot at a moving target'
How fast has our target been moving?
Think about it this way: DC did a complete redesign of the V-10 and we...

Why don't web designers think an address is needed?
They also have a phone system that you can hear them, but they can't hear you. Frustrating.
All I wanna know is what STATE they are in.
Re: Z06 is a compelling alternative to Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Maserati and Ford GT
We are up in arms. DC does not know exactly how I feel, because an upgraded motor isn't available, NOW. I don't want to lose bragging rights for one second, much less ONE YEAR. Being top...
Ok, what about rear shock blow out all the experts say is gonna happen? What's the ride like? Where are you and what shop did the swap?
Sorry for all the questions. This is a dream I've had for a LONG time. An Easy, Inexpensive way to lower my SRT. You are talkin about a GenIII right?
You...
Earlier 911's with no power steering were the ultimate in road feel. Most girls would say 'the steering is so jumpy!' 'I don't like it, why can't it be smoother?'
That about says it all. Drive a race car without any road feel through the steering and you'll crash on lap 1.
A 'tweeked' Viper would be called a comp coupe.
It's time to run one at the ring, in the hands of the driver who did the laps in the Z06, blue dog or not.
Re: 2005 Viper & Other Exotics Spotters Thread
I haven't seen one come through the processing center yet. I could have missed the first ones though. My office overlooks all the incoming cars for east coast distribution.
Ouch. It took me thirty minutes. I think I paid $1.99 per plug (bought them long ago, I could be wrong)
$20 and 30 minutes vs. $200 and having to sit in the dealers service dept. waiting room.....
AWESOME group of cars! WTF is the rustang doing in there?!? Parking BEHIND the 288GTO is showing some respect, but it really should not have been allowed in the vicinity...
just kidding all you Fordfanatics!
Opps, on second look, the 288 has a targa roof which means it's not a 288. Prolly...
So far, only good results from the change. Another benefit is gas mileage. While I don't really care if it gets 10mpg, with gas priced so high, I figured I'd let you all know I'm up from an average of 14.9 (over two years) to near 16 on the first tank after the change, to 16.8 on the second! I'm...
This post was about the 1 mile test results. I mentioned the name because that's who won. I didn't mean to start a VS. pissing contest. Freedom is information. Let freedom ring.
My opinion (for what it's worth) is to keep the FE and supercharge it. You got the looks, performance, and you can always do a brake upgrade. Best of all worlds, except maybe the ability to mentally fight new car fever. That's a tough one.
I always ask myself, will I really be happier?
I'm not...
