I purchased a set of aluminum covers fom Snake Oyl. They look and feel great.
The accel pedal cover mounting system did interfeer with its operation. I tried two sided foam tape and silicon sealer but it just kept falling off. I finally secured it by drilling the pedal in four locations...

Belanger headers are mild steel. I must also add installation was quite simple using hand tools with the car on jack stands in my garage at...
Ok, I'll weigh in. I did the entire Belanger thing. It fits perfectly, is of very high quality, sounds great and enhances performance noticably; maybe not the 50 rwhp as advertised but substancial SOTP improvement to be sure. My 1/4 time dropped by 0.5 sec. - you do the math. Folks talk...
You're totally right Mike. I am completely bummed, but a business trip to Tampa had to take precedent (the flying part really sucked).
WG is an absolutely awesome road course. Have a ball and enjoy the peristroika.
PDA @ Pocono in 2 weeks - going? I'll be there for sure!

Oil in the intake manifold? Hum! I would be concerned about more than just intake gaskets. I can think of no reason why that would be the case. I take a look a an engine schematic and report back. Oil in the intake, oil in the intake ...... ?????
Installed Belanger headers and exhaust (catless) and removed the H2O baffle in the airbox. It's an ACR so smoothies and K&N's are already there. Thats it, nothing more ..... yet!
I need more power and have been leaning toward 1.7 roller rockers and throttle bodies (65mm I believe) given the...
..... this magnificent automobile and the Viper Community at large, have provided me with a fun, rewarding and totally pleasurable experience. The hole isn't quite as large when you can fill some portion of it with a Viper. I suspect that I have many brothers and sisters out there!
Godspeed

The 10 quart pan was first used in 2000. It did not contain baffles to prevent cavitation during high lateral g loading. I purchased a complete set-up from Parts Rack (pan, baffles. windage tray, gasket) and I am very pleased with its performance and the quality and workmanship of the parts...

I second that!
I removed the rain baffle and concur that a modest performance improvement can be realized.
Standing H2O would only be an issue if the car were set-up as a bottom breather; it is not. If you drive into ~ 3' of standing H2O, you have other issues to contend with.
The only possible issue might...
Wow Laura you certainly get an abundance of responses. I need to say something outrageous (i.e. insult the Boxster community) to get that kind of action.

I found the Simpson web site to be very friendly and quite comprehensive. Fitment was perfect given precise measurement instructions. Local shops may only have a limited selection. The web has it all!

Can you install the factory fog lights on the car?
Is the suspension adjustable for height or just shock stiffness?

1) yes...
Re: My \"idiot\" light went out...what happened?
Same setup ..... light is on constantly. Also surges, runs rich, smells bad, etc. Plan to get the Snakebox from Apex. Hopefully this will be the cure.
