    Viper Factory Video Tape

I have a 99 ACR. Indeed I have the video tape that came with the car but can't recall if there are references to the ACR on it on not. I also have a fax copy of the ACR Supplement (one or two pages) which I can fax to anyone in need. I too would love a nice clean original.

ACR RATTLERS- DODGE FINALLY ANSWERS!! Long

Bob: On behalf of the ACR community, great work! Thank you. One question - if one opts for the DSP replacements, can the Koni's be retained by the owner? I would always want to have all the original OEM parts for resale value. Thanks .....

Guess again if you think the GTS is safe in a roll over!!!

I looked at the photo but wasn't sure it was a GTS. Comments? Deepest condolences to friends and family.

    RFHO (Request for honest opinion)

Get an ACR and you won't regret it. The car handles like it's on rails, the BBS wheels look awesome, five points are great! Tremendous value despite what others have asserted. I've had 11 Vets; big blocks, small blocks, ZR-1, etc. The Viper is just a whole different level. Gawk factor...

    VIPER-ROAD RACER or DRAG RACER

The five link independent rear suspension says a lot about the car's performance portfolio. The car is an outstanding road racer that just happens to provide excellent performance on the strip as well. A straight axle would have be used if the car were simply a drag racer. In its present...

First and foremost, Emma's a little hottie. Her views on the Viper are .... well, whatever!

    ACR on Road Trip

The stock shock settings are "full soft" for jounce and rebound which is fairly comfortable for long trips or cruising around town. Probably a touch stiffer than a GTS. Also leave the springs set to the factory spec as lowering the car will adversely effect ride quality. Other than that, have...

    REAR-SIDESIDE HOOD LOCKS-HAVE YOU NOTICED SOMETHING WIERD?ierd

In a frontal collission, the hook and catch forces the hood to buckle rather than sheer off and penetrate the windshield.

So what have you been spanked by while in your snake?

Neil: You were on L.I so you may have encountered Phil DeJohn, Larry Merrow, Carmen & Denny (Vette Drs.), etc. I hung with that group a bit when I had my (modified) 94 ZR-1. They run low 11's on motor and have incredible top end. Going down to one of these ZR-1's is no embarassment whatsoever.

What were the car movies you watched

Death Race 2000 Stars David Caradine and Sylvester Stallone. Kill pedestrians, earn points, more points for the elderly, hospital patients, etc. Really sick .... great movie!

    a/c blower problems...any suggestions?

It's the diverter door redirecting the air flow as a result of low vacuum during moderate throttle, low rpm operation. NORMAL! Install a vacuum reservoir to (largely) negate.

    Sex, Lies, and Dodge Vipers

Time to re-focus ehh? As my cousin's wedding reception was winding down, I was standing outside talking with my siblings and cousins when this smokin' hot, tall, thin, 30 something, awesome looking model type (who made quite a scene on the dance floor) walks outside and notices my car. She...

    '99 RT/10 Viper Frame Damage

Re: \'99 RT/10 Viper Frame Damage I should add that Chris Barone is outstanding in this area and if anyone is capable of doing a great job it's Chris. He's done some work for me and it is perfection.

Re: \'99 RT/10 Viper Frame Damage Establish a buy price based upon replacement of the frame. In my mind (if no where else) this is the only way to go.

    Lethargic GTS or jaded driver?

Sounds about right for a relatively stock GTS. From a roll, my car would likewise not break the tires loose and felt a tad sluggish. I added Belanger headers and a full 3" exhaust system (sans cats) and that changed things considerably. From a roll with the clutch fully engaged (~ 3,300 rpm)...

O2 sensor wire reroute for belangers

Simple - First remove the belt by rotating the self-adjuster CW. Then loosen all 4 bolts that secure the a/c compressor to the block. You will need to move the compressor as far away from the block as possible to allow the electrical connector for the O2 sensor to fit through the opening...

Looking for a nice set of pedals....

I installed the Snake Oyl aluminum pedals (actually covers) and they look fantastic. Indeed drilling the accel pedal was necessary for safety and security, but no big deal. I've since seen a few different types of pedals at Pep Boys that look equally impressive at a fraction of the price...

    AC/heater fan operation throttle related?

Normal condition, however, a vacuum resovoir could be added to supply vacuum to the HVAC diverter actuator during low vacuum (>50% throttle) operation. This would (greatly) extend the time until a change in air flow into the passenger compartment would be evidenced. Again, a normal...

    Viper/Sauna???

The Viper's a/c system is marginal even when working properly. Lose the cats and tint the windows to significantly improve performance.
