$100? Most of us regularly blow that on one dinner. The magazine is an excellent source of information (so the editor's promote the Viper - Hello, it's called Viper Magazine). The club events are awesome (VOI's are a total blast); I enjoy the camaraderie, the member's only forum, access to...
Re: What\'s the highest price ...
I lowered the price on my showroom clean 99 ACR to $51,000 and still no bites. The market would have to get a lot better to suck.
Re: Only fools don\'t change their mind/GTS&SRT comp
Me too, except I need a change soooo SRT-10 it is! If DC does come out with a coupe, I'll trade up!
I took my 99 to the Wizard in NY for service. "Is that a new Viper?" "Wow, that car is off the hook!" So many positive comments. Makes me wonder why I'm selling it for an SRT-10. Change for the sake of change is all.
Is it just because there are far fewer Gen III's out there, or does this signal a demographic or cultural shift in Viper ownership. Are a significant number of the Gen III buyers car lovers but not true Viper people? I'm planning on getting a Gen III and check the forum regularly. It occurred...
No, but an 02 does have the higher capacity pan. Simple to R&R the pan. John B. has the baffles and scallop cut windage tray. Essential and relatively inexpensive mod for road racers.
Chuck will get it sorted out. Could be a clogged injector or two creating a lean combustion condition or perhaps a plugged catalyst. Not normal though IMO.
I am restoring my car to 100% stock. The factory airbox was meticulously modified to delete the H2O deflector. Looks, sounds and performs wonderfully. Driving in heavy rain is not recommended with this modification. I spend several hours making the mods look and perform perfectly. EM me if...
What's the latest scoop? Is it a possibility? If so, how strong or remote? I'm preparing to buy an SRT-10 but will hold off (keep my 99 ACR) if a coupe will become available in the not too distant future. How about if some of you VCA Officers chime in here? Perhaps you have a wee bit of...
I though that was a non-issue - No coupe and that's that. If a coupe is indeed in the works, I'll pass on the SRT-10 and hold on to my ACR a bit longer. Any wisdom here?
I understand the problem with the top down, but in an extreme ambient temperature environment, has anyone tinted the windowds to decrease thermal penetration? Did wonders for my GTS. Does the SRT-10 have a plastic or glass rear window?
Can anyone post a photo and comment on adding a rollbar. An interferrence or visibility issues? Just beginning to acquire facts and data in anticipation of purchasing a new 2004 SRT-10.
Thanks!
Not to worry Matt, I have no intention of leaving the Viper community. My criteria is American, exotic, 2 seater, big cajones, unique and exclusive - sounds like only a Viper will fit the bill.
I love my ACR but need to make a change for the sake of change. Besides I'm known as Viper Joe...
Considering trading for an 04 SRT-10 plus cash. My car is pristene - never been hit, damaged or repainted. What is a reasonable differential amount to expect to pay?
