What a viper will do to your boss.

I have been hearing some people talk about have a vet over a viper. Here is one big difference when you have a viper. I drive mine to work everday, and my boss all of the sudden seems to be driving his wife's boxster. I guess when clients go to lunch with him he is tired of people asking is the viper yours? and you only drive an Explorer? I love making a millionaire feel jealous lol.

Having said that, I noticed that some wealthy people don't have the personality to own a Viper, opting for a Mercedes S500, etc. So owning a Viper is not always just about money, its also about having the guts to for the gusto in life. Some people shy away from the excitement, and drive something more humble that suits them!

J/K, I do think it takes a certian personality to own a Viper, not necessarily a certian income level.

I have a few friends that have "too much $$", and they are great guys as well! But they can never talk about a Viper when thinking of buying a car. It's always a Mercedes or BMW, Porsche or of course Ferrari! Although, one of my friends likes the SRT-10 alot!
But they all think my Viper is BAD A$$, and it only takes a short drive for them to NOT UNDERSTAND why I would want something so damn SCARY!!
The usual question is, "Why do you want so much power"?

Funny story, one of them has a '02 TT Porsche, he wanted to see my car and check out my Heffner work. So I go over to his place and he is drooling over my car walking all around it. I lift up the hood and he is looking around for a minute and he asks me a question that floored me! He asks with dead serious, straight face, "So, is all that shinny stuff what makes this Viper twice as fast as my Porsche?" I chuckled, said yes, all the shinny stuff!
I have many other stories like this from others, but I don't want to type that much!

All of these guys have awesome cars! They don't really want them to drive them hard, but to relax and just have a nice car to drive sometimes.

Some people just don't have the personality to own a Viper!!

I'm working on an elevator in this guys house, who supplies McDonalds, Wendy's, etc, with buns and ketchup, et al. His home is a freekin PALACE! He does have a 360 Spider, so I guess he's got bucks and style! Hmm, could easily be a Viper dude....
