    Source for red valve cover paint?

    I have a can at home and will check the brand and part number tonight. It was a high temp paint that I got through Auto Zone. Ended up trading the car and never really used it, but I do recall that it matched very well.

    I have forged wheels on my late 97 GTS. They are stamped 97F on the inside of the rim.......Kurt

    I went from stock wires to Magnacore 8.5 with no noise!

    Not absolutly when the change occured. I have a late 97 with the forged wheels.

    Look on the inside of the rim for 97F stamped into the rim. This indicates that the rim is forged and NOT cast. They had both in 97 and you will want the forged if at all possible.........Kurt

    Anyone change their VEC1 settings in the winter?

    I spent an hour on the dyno and found that this works best form my 97 GTS: Low = +12 High= -16

    VOI 8! Sept 9 - 13, 2004

    Rohn, There is a very nice NHRA 1/4 track in Ennis, which is about 30 minutes south of Dallas - see http://www.texasmotorplex.com/ I was able to pull a 12.1 (stock 97 GTS) there my very first time at any 1/4 mile track. Those that really know what they are doing should do GREAT!! :)

    VOI 8! Sept 9 - 13, 2004

    I happily drove to Nashville last year and will happily drive the 20 minutes to VOI 8!! :) September is typically a HOT and dry month! For those of you who have never driven at TMS, etc. it's GREAT!!

    96 VS 97 GTS

    I know several people who have experienced rattling door glass on their 96 GTS. Have not experienced this on my 97 GTS. No big deal though!!
