Rim Repair Story
willyskaf - I do not believe the newer rims are powdercoated like the old RT 3-spoke type. I am looking to get my wheels stripped, polished and clearcoated also.. Is the clear on the newer 5-spoke polished wheel powdercoat? I am interested to hear the real skinny on this..... Thanks,- XS TORQ

Lower car for 1 inch
Is it safe to assume you need to realign the car after changing springs to drop the car? If so, that will about double the cost of lowering the car (unless you align it yourself, which I wouldn't). I have considered doing this to my 94, but always worried about al the other potential "problems"...- XS TORQ

Anyone going to racing school in Sebring this weekend?
If so, where are you flying in from, when do you land, etc. I have a rental car, and am flying in to Orlando at 9:17PM on Thursday the 1st (from San Jose, CA, via Dallas). Yep. That's the setup Ken has. I think it sounds great, but it's a bit loud if you are "cruisin w/ the wife" or listening to music (I know, I know "the V10 is the only music you need!"). Not me. I need some Metallica, Methods of Mayhem, etc., to go along with the sweet sound of the car.- XS TORQ

Ulysses, Note that he has a 94 RT - it only has cats and mufflers in the sidesills, and sidepipes. You got rid of the rear mufflers on your car, but you still have a pair in the sidesills (I assume). 3.45 rear gears
Does Unitrax have their own gear set, or are these Chevy gears, Richmond, etc? Anyone know? I have heard that some gears that were being installed (aftermarket) early on were too soft, and were losing teeth on the pinion gear. I am interested in a gear change, but only want to do it once!- XS TORQ

Rear gears/speedo calibration
I want new gears, but I don't like the idea of cutting into the wiring to calibrate the speedo. Is there a way of doing this by changing the speedo gear in the tranny?
