Re: Finally!! My Viper pit is complete! Some pic. thanks to Tony\'s help.
I agree with Bill, the paint on the Red RT is quit unique and looks excellent.
Dean,
I should have done at and it would have saved me a lot of trouble but it was a spur of the moment thing and I was soooo excited about it the way Eric talked. Surprise, Surprise.
I dont have the vin but I can tell you that it is a Red GTS with Gold wheels and he said it came out of California. I also forgot to say that he was telling me that they had to weld part of the arm back onto the frame behind the left rear wheel.
I just wanted to post this so that fellow viper owners can be aware of what Eric Lee is capable of saying and lying about. I recently called Eric Lee of Latham Motors. I was looking for a used Viper. I have owned four of them so far and this was to make my fifth.
He told me he had a 97 that...
They dont listen. If they did, they wouldnt have designed the body style like that. They did good on the interior, and the performance is probably much better but I take into consideration what the car looks like, just like most people.
Re: Bob Lutz Gives\"Thumbs Down\" to the SRT/10!!!!!
Sorry but the 2003 SUCKS. They can have them all for all I care. I am sure the performance is better but they really screwed up on the design. WHIMP CAR
Over the years I have had 4 Vipers and had to replace the fascia three times due to either curb checks or debrie in the road and have never seen patched material come from DC.
WOW...things happen. Just glad everyone got out alright. I have had 4 Vipers over the years and NEVER broke down on the road, or has any of the ones I have had had any major problems and the wife and I have travel the U.S. in my 98 and 99.
We have two members here in San Antonio, Tx. that has done this same thing, but be careful. When the exhaust is cold it moves up about one inch in some cases, and when it gets hot it goes back one inch so make sure you position it in the hole correctly.
Only from one of the reputible Viper dealers.
