Again, Viper X says it all perfectly. Is this instructor for real? I hope you did not pay for his services. I would ask him on what basics he makes his profound statements.

We have developed these new mirror polished billet exhaust tips, to fit the Mopar-Borla Exhausts. These tips are for those of you who prefer a tip that extends past the side sill opening. These tips will eliminate any chance of the paint being burnt on your side sills.

Mine 2003 is junk. No one has been able to get it to work. See this other post for comments on A/C issues.

I would pay to have someone come here and fix the d....m thing properly.

" Modern patch-plugs have the best of both worlds: a plug-like nipple that does NOT need to be cut off....or a pull-thru plug attached to the inner patch like an umbilical cord. Patches and Patch-Plugs are considred to be permanent repairs"
Jon, You explained the plug system that I use...
Got to agree with the above, it is a joke. But I have to tell you, My Ferrari was a lot worst. It used to fry my back to the point that the dye would come out of my shirt and stick to the tan seats. For the record my A/C is next to useless. No one can figure out why. All the pressures are spot...
Guys,
Awhile ago some of you asked me to test out the new Bosch Fusion spark plugs that are available for our vipers. I bought 16 of these plugs to try out in our 2003 viper and my 1997 Jeep Wrangler. After installing them in my Wrangler I lost a ton of power, lost about 3 MPG, and the...

If your Camshaft and Crankshaft are aligned and timed properly then that is your base timing. Other than that the ECM handles the timing advance curve on a factory stock engine. That is the beauty of the DC tune as Dan can remap the timing and fuel curves to your modifications.

I called a friend of mine who is a CT State Trooper and he said that all states are to go by the rules set down from the state the car is registered. He also said that police in rural areas do whatever they want to just to make money for the town. I drive out west every year and put on about...
No disrespect to Lou at Belanger but it is getting ridiculous when an aftermarket manufacture uses the above excuse when there is an obvious problem with their product. I believe there is a placement issue in where the O2 sensor is located. The above excuse has also been used by others including...
Alex,
Go to NAPA and ask for 1/2" wide x 7/16" thick closed cell PSA foam which has a removable tape backing on it so it will self stick. If you can find a dealer in your area that handles AUVECO products the part number is 4859. You can see AUVECO on line at http://auveco.com/. I believed I...
Are you power shifting with your foot on the gas while using the clutch or are you letting off a bit? If you are full on power shifting the tranny will never handle the torque of the viper motor nor will it handle dumping the clutch at a high rpm. I have 20,000 miles on my 2003 and I only use...
The heat issue is a big problem on SRT vipers in warmer climates. I live in CT and it roasts me here but when I go to Lincoln, NH it is perfect. Humid weather makes it worst. The A/C is just about useless in my 2003. Part of the problem is the fact the the rear of the hood is not sealed at the...
I am also starting to wonder if the 2008 will really be built in view of the upcoming sale of Chrysler. Talk is cheap and seeing is believing! If you want to put the viper to the test against the vette then you need to pit them against each other with professional race car drivers, who race each...
According to Michelin the Run Flats are not to be repaired which is why I changed over to Non Run Flats by Michelin. I have plugged both rear tires with a kit I bought form NAPA that uses a gun to insert a mushroom head plug into the tire from outside that is coated with vulcanizing compound...
Also if you have read the fine print in the Viper Magazine you will note that the 2003 and up SRT10 Paxton kits are not C.A.R.B. emissions legal.

Mine has to completely stopped to shift in reverse. I see no need fro such a system as I have owned over 60 cars and none of them had this stupid system. Even if I am parking the car and it is moving forward less than 1 mph it still locks me out of reverse. When I get the chance it will be...
