It's lasted quite a few mornings, afternoons, evenings and nights. I think it's here to stay.
What a shame! As the price currently stands at 110K, my ACR order has been cancelled.
I like going for a ride, not being taken for a ride.
There are 300 million people in USA. If they all donated just $1, we'd have $300,000,000 to save a lot of sick and dying people all over the world. The keyword is "IF". :dunno:
Besides, senior VCA members already has done this.
And yes, the ring is the Nurburgring! I don't think that's what...
Normal if the road is even slightly bumpy. At stop signs and lights, the road is far from perfect because of the additional loads involved from braking and accelerating. These locations make wheel hop all the more noticeable.
Do a search for wheel hop and you find a lot of threads.
First there was the so-called Canadian "hack". Now they are frantically trying to get some internet guys to pull the pricing. Only a bunch of nitwits will test on their client-facing systems? :dunno:
Would they like to hire me to manage their back-end I.T. infrastructure? I have almost 20...
I don't care what they call it as long as they make it. It's only 19 years of history so far from the 89 concept to the 08 Viper, so the name is no big deal for me. Besides, it was (is?) sold as the Chrysler Viper in Europe.
I hope this doesn't affect Chuck Tator. His dealership has been family run since 1914 and while it is not high volume, it's a great asset to the Viper community. If he is affected, I'm starting a signature petition.

Chrysler mulls...
5.125" ground clearance! Shucks, I didn't realize the ground clearance was so high in the ACR. So lowering it 3" will be essential to tracking it! I wonder how much the stock springs would compress at triple digit speeds with the addtional downforce.
Racers, your input is appreciated.
Can somebody photoshop the purple! I prefer bright solid racing colors (blue, red, yellow) but that purple has me thinking twice. Also, that black from Austin looks so nasty!
I will never pay a premium for any car. In fact, I'll never pay list for any car. Screw the exclusivity factor. And yes, I will be buying an ACR if the claimed performance numbers are real.
First we had no wing or splitter and people modified their car to include it. Now that the ACR has these mods, we are thinking of modifying it to remove them. Ah yes, the grass is green on the other side. It's the exclusivity-leading-to-stupidity syndrome.:dunno:
You do make a good point. 1.5G is raising the bar dramtically and is only a claim at this point. I hope the magazines prove it to be correct. Even if they come in at a measly 1.25G, I will be sold on it. At 1.5G, I will buy it in a heartbeat and wait for all the other car companies to catch up...
1.25G and 520 hp on the track-only CC for $125K.
1.50G and 600 hp on the streetable ACR for $100K.
Win win win win in all 4 departments. Need I say which is the fastest? :drive:
Real racers look at track times, quarter miles times are for those who can't turn.:lmao: :2tu:
Conversation between a track racer and a 1/4 mile racer.
Track racer: What's the steering wheel in your top fuel dragster for?
1/4 miler racer: It's for turning into and exiting the track.
