Adams is great, To remove fine scratches I use Mcquires light cut 80 with a random polisher on a foam pad. seems to polish out all light swirl marks and scratches. I have a black Viper so it's very easy to see any imperfections from a dirty wash rag or just a microfiber towel that is not...
I also ran a set of MT drag radials. They were ok for a while but, after had a tendency to spin even in 2nd gear. I never liked them on the street. I felt the car could go out of control if pushed. Currently running M&H racemasters drag radials. A whole lot better but, not for the street. I run...
The old gen 3 shafts were hollow.... What was Dodge thinking?? The construction of the older shafts hollow with a curf in the shaft like a cold joint in concrete. Always will fail at this point. Dodge now only makes the shafts solid. I guess they got tired of replacing them. Driver side is...
I just had to get mine smoged yesterday. I hear that those american racing headers are the ticket on the gen 4 I ran the hight flow cats with corsa but the sound was so loud I din't care for it. I think the new cats are going to be less noisy. Also my buddy has some Band B exhuast and they don't...
It should be a great game. I knew the Lakers would come back in game six after that embarassing show in game 5. I think game 7 which is always the best game for the fans will be a battle between two great teams and coaches.
nearly a hundred HP spread... Tell me now bolt ons don't add an additional 100 HP or do they? It seems hard to beleive when a paxton adds 180 more. It sucks being on the bottom.
Perfect runs are tough. Track conditions really dictate. some days are just better than others as all racers know. I don't think I ever had a perfect run. Good luck.
I just had to buy a new rear Micheln 19" for my 04. I ran over a 2" x 3/8" bolt with a nut half way down the shaft and it drove it right into the tire. Micheln has no road hazard warranty on there tires. 500 bucks to replace. If you can get road hazard for your tires it might be a good option.
Just added some M&H Racemaster drag Radials to my car. Tossed the Mickey Thompsons. Last Saturday on a drive over to Infineon Raceway I ran over a 3/8" bolt with a nut midway down the bolt. It drove right into my passenger rear tire. I couldn't beleive it when I looked at it a bolt sticking out...
I have to take my hat off to BadBoyzz Garage Todd Gomez and his lovely wife Sonya for hosting a great event at Infineon. About 40 cars Vipers, Vettes, and an assortment of other high performance cars. The races were fantastic and the classic race cars were really something to see. Cars you would...
Glenn those look great. Enjoy. I love projects like this. No bad mouthing from me here. Makes you wonder who plumcrazy is sleeping with. Never could understand negative comments.
I remember taking my wife to the Dodge dealer here in Napa Calif to show her this 04 Viper. She looked at it ans then looked at me and asked me what are you waiting for. Needless to say my wife of 45 years was into cars with her first fastback Mustang. She loves the car but, she has rules. Take...
I have not dynoed in a few years but, wanted to add a couple things to my mods. Ported intake manifold, New BBK TB removed the X-Metal, DC Performance mail in tune, OS Giken 3.55 diff, dyno jet was my dyno 18" SSR rims run 11.7 122mph
Either way when I had it on I couldn't tell. I gues you would have to dyno it to know and beings such a small part I doubt it ever made any difference. I think Dodge had a lot of things pretty well figured out. I think the two 3" filters let the engine have all the air thats required. I...
Pulling the manifold is not that hard. It just looks complicated but one step at a time is pretty easy. yOU MAY WANT TO PUT ON NEW GASKETS ALTHOUGH SOME SAY IT'S NOT NEEDED. I just didn't want to repeat the process. What wires are you using?
George I was going to go but I have this hood on my car and I don't think it will stay on at 120 plus. I need to get some hold down pins for it. So I don't think I will be going as of now... How have you been George??? Get your headers on yet? your OS Giken?
Well I did readjust the hood latch and so far it seems ok. I was wondering about the pad since I am not running one with this hood. I did have to disconnect the wires to the hood pad but, they seemed just ground wires. (pad to frame). Anyone know what they are all about??
