Redline in 4th at 140 mph means what rearend ratio?
My '96 GTS sputtered at redline at approximately 140 mph, which seems pretty slow for 4th gear redline, so I wonder if anyone can tell me whether it probably has the stock rearend or a lower (numerically higher) ratio? I have stock wheels and tires. Thanks.- Flyntgr

Battery
I tried the Optima 73 35 just 2 weeks ago, but it would NOT fit. The useless top posts hit the frame, and you CANNOT cut them off without ruining the battery. Optima needs to make a battery without the top posts, but right now they do not.- Flyntgr

The throttle shaft screw was the problem. I backed it off just a wee bit and this took out the bucking! I have WOT on driver's side, but only 98% on the passenger side throttle body. How to adjust Gen II throttle cable?
Yes, the flywheel is stock. I have K&N's, Roe VE-1, and no cats. The car ran fine for a year, but has recently been harder to drive without bucking. Anyone have the procedure to adjust the cable? Do stock '96 GTS valves need maintenance?
Do stock \'96 GTS valves need maintenance? I have about 24,000 miles on my '96 GTS. Do I need to have the valves adjusted or inspected? Extended Warranty Pays off

After 14 months of driving a Viper daily in Louisiana, I don't see much difference in driving this car daily as compared with a Vette or other sports car.
