Down to 10.0 all you'll need is:
1. roll bar
2. 5 point harness
3. helmet
4. jacket
5. extended wheel studs (they haven't been checking)
6. drive shaft and half shaft loops (they cant really check for the drive shaft easily in our cars and I haven't had anyone check the half shafts yet)...
While you're s[peaking with Nick ask him about Tom's roll bar. I like Tom and think he's a nice guy but I've got his bar in my car and I have been extremely disappointed with it. There may be better options out there.
Friday nights coming down to the shore can be brutal during the summer.
The car's just got bolt on mods so I'm sure you n20 can beat my car heads up.
No hard feelings on my part.
Cheers
BTW, good luck with the new dlm car. I would suggest calling Nick at Modern Performance about that car...
If you've seen a 99 acr red/silver, then yes that's me. If you mean the same car and driver that's won the Mopar Atlantic Nationals 3 years in a row, yes that's me. Forum racer, dont think so. A**hole, definately not.
Based on Adam's voucher, I'll retract my statement about you not being a...
Care to mention who you bought these items from. Confirmation from them would suffice for me to admit I was wrong (about you not owning a Viper anyway).
I'm at Englishtown most Wednesday nights during the season, feel free to come see me anytime. You're not going to school me on anything unless you're talking about being a jackoff. I would not recommend talking sh*t to someone you do not know.
I offered an opinion based on the posts I've...
I think this kid is just a troll. I do not believe that he actually owns a Viper. He's constantly posting questions about highly modifying his Viper but clearly does not know enough to really be in the game.
BTW zosicks = Z O 6
Go bother the people on the vette forums (I don't think...
That's the answer. It's always that way in the winter. I'd say dont wory about it and just go a little easier on it during the winter. Come spring it'll be back to normal. I'm not saying dont get tires and check alignment because both of those things are god things to do, I'm just saying...
You've got to do that shift even with the stock gears, so I disagree with this being the reason but do agree that traction is more of a problem with the 3.73 gear.
If street bikes are only running low 10's high 9's, what are all of those bikes I always see at the track running anywhere from high 6's to low 8's and how are they generally modified to run that much quicker than their stock counterparts.
A xmas present from my wife. I'm trying to install the new Mgw Race Knob and I am having a bit of trouble.
I cant get the boot low enough to get a wrench on the nut. It seems there is a large diameter piece right under the nut which is keeping me from lowering the boot . I can just barely...
Great people. Fantastic reputation for standing behind their product. I highly recommend them. I bought my brother's Viper there and sent a friend to them recently who bought one. I didn't buy mine there because I didn't know them until I was part of the Viper community. Now that I do know...
Does anyone know what the factory suggests regarding how long a set of Hoosiers (r compound) can sit around before being either unsafe or ineffective. I've had mine sitting in the garage for 1 1/2 years and they had approx 5-10 heat cycles on them when I put them there.
Thanks in advance.
Phil
I had svsi. The biggest problem with them is that they are "in the way" It took me a long time and many burnt spark plug wires before being able to route them in such a way as to avoid the headers. I bought the car with their headers on it. I would never purchase anything from them knowing...
How about some more info on the V-10 Nationals above and beyond what one guy did. Congrats to Dr. Roof but it would be nice to hear more about the event than one person's numbers. Thanks.
Phil
Re: Video of Roof\'s record runs!!!
Who was that he was racing in the second run? It looks like he got smoked that run. Although the video does not show the whole race so I may be mistaken.
I assume you mean other than for the following two reasons:
1. They are down right ugly when compared to the GTS
2. They are inferior in performance to the GTS
If you've already got a GTS, then I cant think of any reason why not to get an R/T also (perhaps as your beater car)
I'm 6' 4 1/2". I lowered the seat only 1 inch so that I still had full mobility of the seat. I fit fine. The pedals are adjustable, perhaps they were set all the way at the top which would definately be a problem for us tall guys. If fit and finish is the top priority to you, dont go with...
