I'd steer clear of SVS unless you have way more money than you know what to do with and you're looking to throw a bunch away. E mail me if you want more specifics.
Aren't our cars (at least the ones with the stock air box) getting air right from the scoop through the box and into the throttle bodies as opposed to getting the heated air within the engine compartment. If so, I fail to see how any of this even applies.
My guess is that there was a defect in your shaft. As you mentioned there are a lot of guys running a lot more hp and this is never an issue.

Mine has always done it too. The only time I notice it is when turning onto my street where there is a change in angle (one road is flat other is sloped upward)

All the folks that recommend dyno and full inspection are right on the money. Yes, I may have jumped the gun assuming the result but I'd still bet the result will be less than impressive. Please keep us posted.
Just my opinion, but if it were me I would run as fast as I could away from that deal. You will regret it on many levels and it will likely leave you with a very bad taste in your mouth for Vipers and the right Viper at the right price can be an amazing experience.

Thanks Andrew. Unfortunately I wont be able to make it now. There's some more money down the drain. Front drivers side shock is broken and I can't get another for a few days. (99 ACR, those Konis are unbelievably expensive) Local Dodge dealer Quoted $3100 each shock...
I've been to a number of road course events but have always just used my stock pilot sports. I've found that cold pressures of 34 f and 32 r usually is a good place to start and then adjust from there.
This coming week I'll be at Pocono and will probably run the Hossiers at least the later...
