Improved Description of the Viper Engine Calibrator (VEC1), how and why it works...

Sean: Sorry for the stupidity, I just checked your site via the link you gave with the original post. So I now have the price but am still uncertain as to whether the VEC1 has an auto learn mode which optimizes calibration and continues to do so upon further mods to the car or does the driver...

Improved Description of the Viper Engine Calibrator (VEC1), how and why it works...

Sean: You did not mention the price of your VEC1. If that is inappropriate for this venue, feel free to e-mail the price info to me. Also, I need some brake pads for my 99 ACR which do not dust the wheels so badly as the stock ones do. What's your recomendation? Phil

i'm 6'4" are there any aftemarket products to help me fit in a 95 rt/10???

Re: i\'m 6\'4\" are there any aftemarket products to help me fit in a 95 rt/10??? I'm also 6"4" and just barely fit. I guess it is dependant on relative lengths of torso and leg. You can usually get an extra click on the seat track by leaning the seat back forward and pushing hard on the seat...

Re: NORTHEAST ZONE EVENT - I just signed up! Can\'t wait! I just signed up today. It'll be my first VCA event as I just got my 99 ACR recently. I must admit, I'm a little anxious about it as I am a track virgin but very much looking forward to it. See you there. Phil

    High flow cats....

Hey JonB, you must be doing some thing right for these other vendors to be so agressively sparring with you. I guess your business is doing too well for their liking. By the way, the cats you shipped me were waiting on the door step for me when I got home. Can't wait to get them on. I'll be...

    fuel gauge

There's a control unit (near the fuel pump I believe) I just had to have mine replaced and it was covered by warranty. Mine was showing half full when it was actually empty (learned the hard way) That would be my guess. Phil

Re: Tator\'s Barbeque Way to go Chuck. 70 Vipers in one place. That's great. Although I'm in NJ, I'd love to come to the next event and I'd guess a bunch of the NJ VCA folks would also be interested (at least some were there today I'm sure) Keep us posted.

Jon B, you out there tonight?

Hey John, did you get a chance to ship those hi flow Bullet cats for me yet? Out of curiousity, what do you think I should be running in 0-60 and 1/4 mile runs in my 99 ACR with Hennessee Ceramic headers, Borla cat backs, Custom push rods, roller rockers, Mopar ECU, Race oil pan. My launch...

Is $1150/mo fair pmt. on new GTS?

If you can scrape together a down stroke you'd be better off with an outright purchase. There's no way you're going to want to let it go four years from now. Good luck. Phil C

    Help! Major heat problems.

Haven't noticed any significant differential in the temp gage. I only recently bought the car (which I absoluetly love) and the ambient temp has been cool until now. perhaps I was just over reacting. Thanks for the response. Isn't that level of heat going to negatively impact the paint down...

    Fuel (what Octane?)

Recently purchased a 99 ACR with plenty of HMS and Mopar performance upgrades. Absolutely loving the power and handling and suspect this is the first in a long line of Vipers I'll own during my lifetime. The highest Octane fuel I've been able to find in my area is Sunoco (94). I'm wondering...
