    When hitting brake pedal , does anyone

    accidentally hit the accelerator pedal too? I constantly do this when I deaccel and brake,even at stop lights. I guess the pedals are just THAT much closer? That and I constantly turn the wipers on on accident. grrrr :confused: :curse: :nana:

    COngrats on your purchase, but "only" 27 sure isn't a spring chicken.....LOL!! I'm 85, got my 1st when I was wither 24 or 25, I forget in my old age. but since I've had a viper for nearly 60 years, Im definatley the oldest here with a viper ;) congrats again.

    Which K&N intake for SRT10?

    I believe they have this taken care of. I purchased a K & N kit and had no issues, just plug and play. Just make sure you're not buying a 2 year old kit sitting on a shelf or you might have to drill some holes. G

    How driveable is your supercharged Viper?

    100% driveable. 800+RWHP and I don't think I've spent over $8.00 in two years. (my upper radiator hose split the other day, bought a 6" radiator hose to fix it) Get it done right by a professional and you'll have a great install/package !

    Wet sanding ... final step ...

    I've been wetsanding quite a few years, but I've NEVER wetsanded black. I guess it goes to show I've been doing it wrong all along as all the other colors show the luster easily after wetsandin with 2000 grit, then following up with 3M compound and then 3M finish restorer with an orbital buffer...

    Somehow I got a few minor scratches in my 05 black paint. No big deal as I can wet sand it out if they are not too deep. I can get them out on my other viper (red 98) but with the BLACK paint, it shows all the imperfections if any. The problem is after wet sanding the black paint and getting...

    Could you post some photos? I've got an 05 SRT/ Black. I've got some nice wavy paint. I'll see if I can find the pictures and post them.. Seems black shows ALL the imperfections. I would be most vipers have it, but black REALLY will show ANY and ALL imperfections.. G

    Footwell Sub box measurements? (Rt/10)?? Help

    YOu'll want to hit about .75 cuft. If you can get more, go for it. Choose a sub that REQUIRES less air space. THere are different model subs. Some require more airspace and some require less. Also pay attention to the resistance. If you want ANY kind of bass, footwell sub is the only way to go. G

    Re: BFG\'s or Kumho\'s ?? Who has experience with both? I experience the opposite. When I put my Kumho's on I experience a little more "roll" around a corner than I do with the pilots. I find the walls a little stiffer with the pilots vs the kumho's. Not by much but a definate difference...
