How to best 3M my car
You should use something like Dawn dishwashing liquid/water and remove all wax, Zaino, etc., before trying to apply the 3M. Then, reading the 3M instructions, use baby shampoo and water to position and then secure the 3M. They have extensive instructions on their web site.- Frank 03SRT

Help....Installing front end cover(ie bra)........
I'll bet the gap between fascia and hood varies from car to car. If your gap is tight, I wouldn't be forcing the hood shut. Your's simply might not fit due to the gap.- Frank 03SRT

Oil Leak
Kept finding very small puddles on the garage floor and today --- a stream of oil running down the floor. Put it on the lift and noticed that oil was dripping on the top of the oil filter and the adjacent frame. Traced it to one of two metal oil lines that connected to the engine. Geoff, they advertise that it doesn't change the color of the paint over time. I wouldn't be able to verify this claim. And, you better find other reasons than parents for why I put it on. First, if you never done it before, have a professional do it. If your car is black, DEFINITELY have someone else do it (IMO). Any slight bubble will be seen VERY clearly, whereas with silver, it is much harder to see. I did my silver one myself. Did the complete front fascia, 2' back on...- Frank 03SRT

Side mirror puncture marks
Personally, I think it's a very minor problem. It's on the bottom of the mirror and nobody but mice and midgets will see it. Hel, some day the car may be worth more --- like a defective coin.- Frank 03SRT

Edward, no never had a problem of glue residue, but never left it on more than one week. It doesn't go down smoothly, but you can't notice it under the bra.- Frank 03SRT

Left Door Hinge Broken
No, but those springs need to be lubricated fairly often. Both of mine have let out horrible grinding noises before I lubed them. They won't take much grinding before they give.- Frank 03SRT

True Jerry, 2nd gear up was pretty even, and the other two were not. However, I understand you have a different rear end (Viper, not your butt) and headers, etc. I get this from a reliable source, or at least one I choose to believe. Installing front end cover(ie bra)........
Before I used 3M, I would just take some 2" wide clear celophane tape and put it over the sharp edges and across the whole front edge of the hood and top edge of fascia. Only took 5 minutes and came off easily. Bras are a pain in the arse though, unless you use 3M.- Frank 03SRT

Well, it they are reading this board, I had a missing "loop" part on the vertical mat. The rest of the 6 or so were sewn onto the mat, but this one was simply missing. I tried a piece of stick on loop but it wouldn't stay stuck to the plastic part of the mat. I'm not talking about the hook...- Frank 03SRT
