David,
do the video folks have a list of names of whom they have received payment and shipping info on that you can forward to us? I faxed in the info with my CC information some time ago and never heard a confirmation....don't sweat it if its a time consuming process...just thought I'd ask.
Tom
Ward,
Is that avatar from Lakeland when you blew up the engine? or when you were burning the tires for all they had in a loosing effort to outrun the Mod 2 WINNER at BG??
Come on out Sunday for another shot at the title!
LOL
Cudaman,
Its quite clear that you have no knowledge of nitrous systems or any other items for that matter EVEN YOUR OWN DAMN CAR...remember when you BLEW UP your brand new motor at the track trying to be a do-it yourself tuner, then tried to blame everyone under the sun.
I wish I would...
I agree with the index system that Larry mentioned. It has also been mentioned by others on another site.
Lots of anxiety, anymosity(sp)and uglyness over this issue that needs to go away in order for this segment of our industry to grow.
As for the tuner thing..I don't understand that either...
Roof,
Thanks for the input.
Ward, your stupidity and ignorance never ceases to amaze. If I remember correctly you have been the cry baby ever since I spanked you at BG. What ever happened to that "same car same club" crap. I knew I had your respect in the form of FEAR when you knew you...
Roof,
I appreciate your invite and wish you well, but when you and the rest of the SC community realize that cars like mine and yours are classed the same..and will race together, the Viper drag racing series will finally raise from its troubled infancy.
I consider my car no different than...
We will be there (weather permitting) this coming Sunday, August 17th for their all day "runday sunday" event. Its basically a test, tune and grudge race day that is laid back with a family atmosphere. Lots of cars on hand.
Lookin to lay down a few 9 second passes in the August heat!
See...
Re: who\'s going to Norwalk Ohio in september?
Paul,
Do you have a class figured out yet for 9 second Vipers? On the Norwalk and Chryslers at Norwalk websites it seems like Vipers are only a small fraction of the Mopars that will be present. I may bring my 65 HEMI Belvedere Superstocker...
You guys can read whatever you want into my post, you should know by now that I call em like I see em, just like everyone else here does. Never did I mention anything negative about John C, just the observation of several of us at the track that weekend. No different than you guys heckling...
Ron,
Bolt a 3.07 gear and a 6 speed in that GN and give it another try. I used to run GN's and T-TYpes for years...excellent working cars on the dragstrip, they had little torque on the line which also helped them hook.
BTW, how fast was yours? we had a couple that ran low 11's and had all...
Re: MORE best 60\' questions
V10MOJO is a prime example of what I am talking about in the other thread. He runs every week and can't get close to a 1.5 60' time and is wondering whats wrong.
The 60' time is based on many variables. They include but are not limited to;
Track preparation...
Ron,
I don't understand your comments. I wasn't racing against John, and didn't really care about the 60' times of other cars. I'm glad he got his prize. There was no need for finger pointing or whatever you are talking about as there was no payout for 60' times. BTW, the best 60' time of...
Who said anything about cheating? I watched John burnout a few times and he always burned his tires across the starting line (which is not necessary unless you are driving in Top Fuel). That in combination with poor markings for the starting line itself may have been the reason that he...
Not to start a flamefest, but I think John launched with the back tires on the starting line, not the front tires. This is why the 60' is better by far than any documented. I have watched several vipers do crazy things on the dragstrip over the years (which is especially common during a...
Andy,
Nothing is lost when installing our RT/10 Roll Bar. Seat travel, leg room, head room, center console speakers, glove box for the GTS.....all items remain usable and need no modification. Many hours of design were given to the finished production product to insure quality and customer...
IHRA tracks are more liberal because they do not usually have the income potential that is derived from hosting a national event. IHRA tracks make up alot of the small town, home grown facilities and have been known to be more user friendly because of this fact.
In any event, consideration...
NEVER!
Unless you are planning on stroker, sc or other forced air induction.
We are running deep into the 9's with stock TB's and stock, unhoned intake manifold.
Tom
A stupid question..
If Mash is out of the country and his car is here, how could its engine be blown up?
I can't believe that I'm going to say this but I agree with MaxedGTS on this one.
Tom
Re: Can anyone ID this harness - can I get re
Check with Stroud, RJS or Simpson. These companies may re-certify your belts for you for a nominal fee.(usually about 30 bucks every two years)
Good Luck,
Tom
