Where does the other tube that goes around the alternator go? I've two tubes coming out of the water pump, one goes to the metal tube along the valve cover while the other goes to the coolant reservoir...here's the pic of the metal tube that runs along and the two water pump hoses...

I have moved the belt up and down and do not hit the water pump pulley at all until the nut...I m not sure how far the belt stretches with...
I had a buddy come over who had a bright idea to install the washer that you see in the pic I posted above with the pulley bolt before putting the pulley back on. With the washer on first the pulley moves freely installed the right way...
