VOI 8
Rollin4, I will have to trailer my track car, but I may just take it over to Dallas the week before the event and leave it there. That way I could caravan in the '96. Snake Bitten I have not heard of a drag event in Shreveport at that time but I'm usually the last to know of such things. Doc- Doc.

Comp Coupe at VOI
Sir Fang, Have you car shipped to Bobby Archer's before the event. He has room for 4 cars in his enclosed trailer. He could take your car to the track and then transport it back to his shop. You could then have it shipped back home from there. Problem solved. Doc- Doc.

I think you have to do whatever feels right for you. I have let several people who were Viper lovers drive my car with me in it. I have never found any of them to even come close to abuseing the car. Dan and Newt have hit the nail on the head. Future mods should be dictated by how you want to use the car. If your going to track the car, brakes, harnesses and safety equipment should be very high on your list. If higher horsepower for the street is your bag, you have lots of options. You...- Doc.

Worthy service center... (Dallas Maybe?)
I agree with 1 Bad. Either call Keith or Bobby Archer. You should also go by Bobby's shop while you're in the area to look at all of the eye candy. Last time I was there he had 10 Vipers (stock to full on race cars), a Ferrari 360 challenge car, and some formula one looking cars in the shop...- Doc.

Dallas/Ft. Worth alignment shop for Saturday??
I too recommend Bobby Archer. Also, I have had an alignment done at Huffines Dodge. Keith Laxson has his own shop now 972-394-4139 mobile 214-674-9340. I'm not sure if he does alignments at his new shop or not but it's worth a call. Doc- Doc.

GTS-R Intake Manifold
I'm certainly no expert on such matters. But from what I understood him to say, the GTS R uses the Motec engine management system already so using that intake would not cost that much on those cars. The problem comes into play when you try to use the GTS R intake on a street car. I don't...- Doc.

Mojo, I saw one on a GTS in Bobby Archer's shop 2 weeks ago. It looks SWEEET! It is on a customers GTS with carbon fiber Oreca body panels. Unfortunately, Bobby says that it needs around $40,000.00 worth of engine management software to make it run correctly. I think he said it uses a...- Doc.
