Thanks kcobean. and sorry, Chris, for the sizing question. I scrolled down your post to fast and didn't see the instructions. Sounds complicated but will give it a try.
Yes, Jerry Dobson.
I assembled my lift in less than a day single handedly with no issues. Without help it took a little thinking and help with a floor jack. I have had no problems with it in the three years I have had it.
Thanks everyone, I will talk to Chuck and get the parts on hand so I have them available.........for him to install when he sets up shop in West Michigan for a week:).
Thanks luc for the parts list.
The car has 2100 miles on it. I don't track it so there is no safety issue involved. I would love to have Tator's do the work (along with my 96) but it's hard to swallow a $3200 +/- transportation bill for both cars to and fro. It might be worth the piece of mind however. Thanks, Venomiss...
In terms of value would it be best to have the recall done or not? My biggest problem is there doesn't seem to be anyone in the West Michigan area capable of doing this recall.
Thanks for your opinion(s).
It doesn't sound like vicj has done this so I'd like to add a safety tip to all of the above. When disconnecting your cables disconnect the negative lead first. This prevents an accidental grounding of the positive lead with your wrench to ground. An employee of mine didn't observe this and...
Wonder if they would do a portion of a door or hood or just where one would have to get on their hands and knees to see the work as shown in the video.
Very good news; for you and US!!
Now we need to work on this rotation idea I have. We need to set up 4-5 shops around the country so we can all benefit from your most excellent services. I'll offer some space in my facility in the Grand Rapids, Mich area. How about sometime in July??
Great info; thanks. I'm hoping you could give me some additonal advice for my cars. Some of you would consider my cars to be "garage queens" in that none are driven more than 2,000 miles per year and stored in a climate controled garage. When they are driven they are thoroughly warmed up...
I gave a ride to a friends 85 year old mother. When I got up to 110 I asked her if this frightened her. She said no but she had never driven faster than her age before.
Very nice and welcome to the club.
Psalm 20:7; "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the Lord our God."
If the Bible were written today it would be "Some trust in the horsepower of Dodge Vipers; but we will remember You still rule."
I didn't think I would like green but that is awesome! And it looks great with the copper. Two very unique Vipers. Those are the biggest corner posts I've seen on a lift; what brand is it?
Yah, that's what I was thinking. With that size hole you could have drilled and tapped the bone for a #10 eye hook thus plugging the hole, saving you a trip to the hospital (when you were busy) and making it useful all at the same time.
Seriously, glad she is ok and she sounds wonderful...
Or you could just move to Michigan where you don't need it most of 9 months of the year:). It might make you feel better knowing I'm sitting at my desk with the furnace on, my floor heater blowing at me and my fingers are still cold while typing. Sorry, couldn't help but joke about it.
I have an extra VOI9 carry on bag, wall clock, and poker chip set I would like to trade for a VOI9 banner. Or if anyone has an extra banner they would sell I would be interested.
