    Who has Sparco Pro2000 seats

I have sat in a Sparco Pro2000 in a Viper and found it fitted me great, unfortunately I couldn't get it far enough back on the runners to suit my bony 6' frame. I have thought about this for myself, but in order to get enough distance from the wheel the seat will need to be angled back quite a...

AEM Engine Management System New Release

Re: Quick question The knock sensor from a Subaru is quite a convenient size, and I imagine that a good place might be the coil pack front mounting bolt which is fairly central and part of the block. Unfortunately the imperial bolt is slightly too large to fit through the sensor, however having...

What is it with people who think the Viper doesn't handle and is only a 1/4

Re: What is it with people who think the Viper doesn\'t handle and is only a 1/4 Vipers came first, third and fourth in the RWD handling course at the UK TOTB. And the best of the 4wd cars, some of which had approaching 900bhp were only about 1.5 second faster over a 40 second course :)

    belanger vs. b and b

Sorry maybe I'm too hard on the B+Bs, but of the two that I know of in the UK, neither fitted very well. My Belanger headers fitted great. I now run the headers with no cats, a Borla system with the silly inner tailpipes removed and the Borla silencers replaced by Sean Roes 3" bore silencers (...

    Pictures of Elite M.S Headers

Those look very nice indeed. I think the collector looks like a slip fit to the pipes. How well does it seal at that point. And what kind of seal is between the collector and the 90deg bend ? Do you think the 5 into 1 benefits top end over the 3/2 into 1 type. Congrats, look very smart indeed.

Uh oh - First shift error

I've done it twice, made me cringe for days after, saw the tacho go to almost 7k, and for sure I thought I had done damage, but everything seemed to be fine. This year I bought the modified Woodhouse shifter and did away with the stock ball on a stick lever. Fitted an older 97 gearknob. The...

SVSI vs. B&M vs. Woodhouse Modded Shifter

Suspect my short shifter might have been an SVSI unit, it was all machined from billet aluminium and anodised black ( but came in a plain box through a vendor ). I agree with Gerry in that the spring was weak and the movement reduced which made the change even more tricky. The Woodhouse changer...

SVSI vs. B&M vs. Woodhouse Modded Shifter

Just fitted the Woodhouse shifter, it has transformed the gearchange on my GTS. I use it in conjuction with a Rich Detert shortened lever and a Gen 1 gearknob. My 3rd to 4th change was the big scare for me since I have hit 2nd a couple of times and that does not feel good :o I'm still a bit...

Yep, just as Tom says, the hole for the grease nipple introduces a weak point, from which breakages will start

    Pass Window not coming up

I think the stapled rubber moulding falls off first, allowing the window to flop about, this then causes the second bit to break. I used sikaflex ( the stuff used to glue in windscreens ) to glue on the moulding again. Seems to be ok now.

    Pass Window not coming up

I had the same problem as Gerald, also had to glue the rubber moulding back into the track, all fixed now, but I have become paranoid about it (happened twice) so I try not to use that window much.

    Excellent service by the Wizard

Many thanks to Chuck for getting that elusive fuel pipe (that I was stupid enough to kink) to me in excellent time, arrived in this mornings post and the Skunk should be running again by tomorrow. Also thanks to Nad for sorting it out for me. Viper community is the best  :D
