    Gas-spiracy

    Gimme a break ! 92 octane here is $2.39 a gallon at most stations. No special gas or additives, just a captured market. It went up in January 2000 (The day I had the supercharger installed on my Tacoma 4x4), and it has only gone up since then.

    That's it exactly. Found some filler at the front of the hood also. Man that hood is thick in places. OK, now how about some advise about the small blisters. They seem to have come out of one of the first layers. My body guy says of may have been inpurites in one of the first layer of filler.

    You think you have it bad ? Neither one of my windows will go up ! I hear that is a common problem with gen 1 cars, but the dealer is no help. I've had my doors apart a few times, and can't even find a place to hook up my continuity tester. Any help would be appreciated.

    Gen 1 question

    Thanks all, That pretty much confirms my hopes. The droplets are clear, have no real odor, only on the right side with the cracked converter, and I'm sure the total doesn't amount to even a quarter teaspoon. I wouldn't have worried about it except for all the reported gen 1 head gasket problems.
