    a few thousand is squat compared to what the value of the house your looking at will go down in the next 10-15 months. if you can wait on the house, i would. you could probably buy an 08 SSG with what you save.:D

    jason, do you have pics of the interior. i would love to see what the seats and knee bolsters look like when they are black. i think the dash looks better black and they should have done that from the beginning.

    george, i just did the repaint on my gen1 and it was not hard. dont worry about buying one to paint just paint the one you have. i have been wanting to do a write up with pics but have not had the time yet.

    keep in mind, if you have to sell it you better blow it out now. the market seems to be getting worse by the day. from all the economy numbers i see coming in, it will get worse before it gets better.

    by the way, has anyone else noticed how bad ebay has gotten lately? people selling their 3 year old used crap for 10% less than new retail? i have not seen a deal there in years. i think they jumped the shark tank in 2003.
