Just tried to start it again by taking off the positive battery terminal connection under the hood and waiting a minute and putting it back on and nothing samething won't start. I'll try the IAC and see if that works
The only way the engine will start is if I keep my foot on the gas pedal as soon as I lay off the rpms drop and the engine shuts off.
IF I just try and start it without my foot on the gas it won't start. I will try disconnecting the battery terminal +
No it tries to start and then dies, its trying, if i press on the gas it says on until i let off the gas and dies. samething happened in the past when the battery died but after a charge and reseting the alarm it fired back up but not this time
Hey guys the battery on my viper died from being stored for over a month, so I charged it up and reset the alarm via the key in the glove box and the viper still won't start.
Its happened in the past but after reseting the alarm it would turn over and start now this time it won't.
Any...
Considering I barely drive my Viper, everytime I actually do I give it a wipe down with some zaino spray, and a quick detail of the interior and wheels etc.
Since I got the Viper I must have at the very least 60 coats of Zaino (Z2,Z5,Z6 Z8)
Re: Chrysler considers selling the Dodge Viper
I could see Saleen buying up the rights and tooling to the Viper, considering they are already involved in the new Viper's body and paint. Also this would further their strong hold on building true American supercars.
I have a 2000 RT/10
I just changed out my stock cats with some random tech metal subs. S&B Filters and Tubes, and Mopar Catback Performance Exhaust.
How much HP/Torue do you think I am putting down now
thanks

If it is a Rt then its the subwoofer. It does dry out and then pop. Pop off the cover using a flat head screwdriver or plastic flat. Then unscrew the 3-4 screws holding the sub in place, and replace with new sub. Either oem or a JL, but if you don't want to drill in new holes to mount the JL...
ok
1/ open using the latch in the front
2/reach in and press on the second latch and lift the hood open some more
3/ then reach and grab the towards the middle of the hood where it meets the windsheild and try and lift up
Be very carful when doing so making sure that you don't bend the hinge...
Hi
I have a 2000 RT/10 and was thinking of getting some random tech high flow cats to go with my mopar performance exhaust.
Anyone have any regrets? roe vs random tech? Will it pass emmissions in Ontario Canada??
Let me know thanks
Does anyone have info on the clearshield brand of clear bra's. Does anyone have it on their Viper/Gen2,, I am familiar with the 3M and Ventureshield product, but want more info on the Clearshield.
thanks
The Gen 2 18" wheels are polished aluminum with a clear coat. Treat the wheels just like your paint. I wipe them down clean with a wet microfibre cloth and then I apply Zaino.
Hi Guys
I am looking for one of the bolts thats underneith/bottom of the front bumper, , I think they are the same as the rear bumper underneith as well.
And I am also looking for one of the small bolts with washer that is used along the side of the front fascia where it meets the wheel well...

There were Canadian spec cars built in 96 and 97, there are a few here in ottawa that I have seen and some over the years on autotrader.ca, all Canadian specs.
To get a documented number who knows I was trying to find that out years ago when I bought my 2000 Rt/10 one of only 99 in my colour...
