    I've heard of this before on cars with hard usage over 30k miles. ..espec with high HP ( ie S/C) It may be internal..I don't know... I would ask the Wizard :2tu: Good news...used tranny's are reasonably priced. BTW...I wonder if the new tranny would fit?? ..sposed to be a HD trans.

    Yep. bought and sold my Porsche on eBay and bought my Viper on eBay ( 1600 miles away and drove it home...from a private owner) and watches overseas.....(did you ever buy a watch sight unseen for $20K ????? I can't help it..I'm an eBay addict...always had good luck ( with a lot of prior research)

    +1 Intercity....proper enclosed shipping and familiar with low clearance supercars...familiar with Vipers. Local Porsche dealer uses them too for cars over $100,000.00 :2tu: :2tu:

    P/S pulley battle...help

    The proper tool... or Pepboys tool... has 2 half moons that fit tightly arount the small metal hub ( around one inch in diamerter) so that the tool can effectively grip about 160 degrees (out of 180) around the entire lip so that high forces can be applied.....which many times is necessary :D...

    This is very common. Go to PepBoy's and borrow a p/s puller for free...or buy one cheap at Harbor Frgt. Oil the snot out of the threads before use ( the threads of the puller!) You will NEVER get the new puller back on ifn don't spend 5 min honing out the center of the new pulley with 400...

    Don't get crazy, prolly just a bad sending unit. :crazy: Easy enough to check out. If'n you got no bad noises ( tappets going clickity on ya) you are most likely ok. but...I wouldn't run it anymore until it gets checked out by a good mechanic...

    Took out my driver seat today, it was easy

    I got the fabric for the bolster repair thanks to Flash Gordon and Plumcrazy . I'm gonna get this repair done. I got the material from Rodger at Tom's. Not a perfect match..but very close :)

    GTS seats, which parts are leather and which are vinyl?

    Seat and seat back are leather. Upper and lower bolsters on both sides of seat are the textured vinyl. Back is cheap nylon carpting. :nana: So only the center perforated section is leather, correct? BTW, I shaved the fuzzy looking seatbacks and lower door panels with electric...
