Momo steering wheel/hub adapter

I just bought a momo steering wheel, momo hub adapter, and quick disconnect. My question is after taking the steering wheel off do I need to completely take off the clockspring (blue plastic in the middle black outside rim with stickers) or can i keep the clockspring on there then mount the hub...
