Met up with neighboring state chapters for a cruise through the city (and beyond that I didn't attend) to a local hotel where 30+ vipers parked. Good times for all. Thanks to the local Prez Michael Shepherd. I don't know how much longer I'll have my car, so this event is definitely something...
I had this happen recently too. I had 2 sets and I couldn't find the problem, cowl was properly grounded and the wires routed properly (no criss crossing, etc.). At idle it was crazy bad but would go away with throttle. I put the stock back on with no problems. Chuck Tator even lent his...
Ugh, it was painful putting the classified ad in...
I've got a good chance for a house upgrade, selling for a bigger down payment: I'll negotiate for a quick, painless sale. A PMI was done by our local VCA recommended Melloy Dodge viper tech for a pending buyer but he bought another car...
I believe they are Powerstop, but there was minimal paperwork with the shipment other than a "recomended rotation direction" page that I think displayed the Powerstop logo.
stock oem size, great deal from non-sponsored vendor including ebc reds (no squeaking finally. PM for details.
I have my original Pete caps, just being lazy. Also thanks VPA for the great deal on tires!
Indeed, I do believe I forgot to replace that ground strap to the passenger cowl arm. Also, as I was under there, I noticed I had some new spark plug wires crossing. Uncrossed, regrounded, and Motley Crue is happy with no crackling.
I'll check again, but I didn't notice anything. Also, I found a great post on the crackling wires, I'm going to try the solution (says wires are crossed somewhere, causing crackle) asap.

What I did:
1. new spark plug wires courtesy of qualitywires
2. New rotors and pads courtesy of partsrack
3. battery died while doing #1 and #2
3. got new battery, all is well
then what happened to me:
4. Cel code P1494 on the second...
Looks great, I agree that the newer viper wheels make a huge difference. I'm waiting for my christmas-to-me 5 spokes to be refurb'd at Cal Chrome from Don Scharf.
if you do chrome it, I'm just about to take mine off. Cal Chrome does it for $150 and recommends that it is completely disassembled to avoid later peeling/chrome damage on the hinge. See the webiste for a pic of the finished fuel door.
Which is best for "spirited" street driving only, no track? I don't want rock debris damage either (wheel wells, sills, undercarriage). Looking at Toyo R888 set or VPA has a good deal for the PS2s. The price difference is about 500 so I won't spring the extra for the PS2s if not worth it...
In all seriousness, what do you recommend for the deeper scratches? They're not fingernail catching so to speak, just deeper in the clear coat I guess.
