Hello everyone,
I just wanted to share the finished slideshow of my (finally) restored car with you. It was a long (and sometimes really unpleasant) journey. Without going too much into detail: I'm German and the Viper was and is my absolute dream car. I worked for a major OEM in engine...
Hi,
I'm interested in the emblem (as companoin for Sneaky Pete and Fangs emblems in my 'Viper reliquary'). I know it's much to ask but shipping would be to Germany ... I'm willing to pay $60 extra for that ($100 in total). Are you interested?
See ya,
Stag Stopa
Devil ZB II
You may heard of Wangan Midnight ... the unbeatble Datsun 240Z has the bad habit of crashing/killing but always being fixed/returning in this anime because the people are so addicted to it - and it is called Devil Z. Well, of course I'm not Akio Asakura, but my Viper also got into...
Sad to hear that ... I got my upgraded radiator from them Dec. 2021 - I can only say the best about RoeRacing (from my limited experience).
Anyways ... Make sure to download the parts manuals (if you don't already have them) ;-)
Who knows - maybe we will see them back in business one day?
See...
Thanks Dean,
and props to you, too ;-) I'm glad you aren't offended by my post (that wouldn't have been the indend). Yeah, as you said - time is the important factor here. And wow - I also considered the monoball conversion back in the day but went with the stock option instead (I was glad to...
Hi,
alignment with only standard equipment (plus one set of Mopar caster adapters) and enough time is possible. I do not recommend the procedure GTS Dean described, though. Every Viper is different ... Sure, the factory did a good job, but I wouldn't bet that every frame is identical and that...
@CRIT Thank you so much for this great news - problem solved :)
@bthibodeaux Yeah, they're also on ebay ... However I'll go with the LSC002B - I had to support MOPAR and their greedy folks far too long because of 'rare parts' whilst rebuilding my car.
Ha, does anyone else think that they only...
Well, they have different part numbers for sure ... Much stuff was carried over from fourth to fifth gen (steering rack, control arms, etc.), but why should they replace the cylinder without cause? On the other hand the green part looks very much like the cylinders I've seen in other TR6060...
Hi,
you can find it here: https://www.viperpartsusa.com/product/switch-bezel-srt-10/
or there is a 'better version' of it here: http://www.viperpartsrack.com/adjustable-pedal-switch
And of course you can ask JonB from VPA.
But I have another 'solution' for ya: my bezel was also broken, but I...
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for two fully polished factory front wheels 18x10 (5181466AA) to restore my Viper to its former glory (I'm gonna post the whole 'Autobahn accident and repair story' once it's finnished). Every Mopar dealer told me they're on backorder without ETA (out of stock...
Hi,
thanks for the quick reply. And sorry for the low volume ...
Yeah, I've forgotten to mention that everything on the car (exept the plenum) is still stock and the current mileage is around 4400 mi (so clutch trouble is very unlikely, but still possible when "heavily abused" in the past so to...
Hi fellow Viper owners and tech experts,
I've recognized some (quite) subdued rattling sound from the drivetrain when the car (2010 SRT-10) is running, warmed up, in neutral and the clutch engaged during the past few days.
Well, I've to admit that I sometimes tend to be way too paranoid when it...
Hi,
are we talking about 2009 or 2010 Vipers? There were only 3 white/graphite coupés each year. Mine is a 2010 with aero group (1 of 36); fetched it Sept. 2020 with only about 3400 miles on the odo and only did a few mods so far (Gen. 5 intake manifold, short ACR shifter, locking gas cap...
