It appears that these can be removed by just removing some plastic push pins. Is that easy? Prone to disintegrate in my hands? Mine are faded to various shades of grey and I would like to touch them up.
Thanks,

Yes, they use the standard "Christmas Tree" plastic push pins. When I removed mine, I made sure to get them nice and hot first by taking the car for a drive and really letting them heat soak to make sure they were a little more pliable. Just be gentle (but firm), and you should be able to remove them all without breaking anything.

Two tips:

1. Put a large towel down over the engine bay to catch the push pins as they come out so they don't fall somewhere you wouldn't want them
2. Do not reuse the push pins - you can get new ones here (they come in packs of 50): https://www.clipsandfasteners.com/Weatherstrip-Retainers-Chrysler-Neon-p/pas5609-50.htm
