Hey people, I am new to the viper community and I have just purchased an 02 GTS FE. It's #295. Well I picked her up on Tuesday and here are some pics. All I can say is wow. What a huge upgrade on the vette, I am in love. :D

sweet ride man. vettes are such "girlie" muscle cars..just look at it...am i mistaking?

lol, it does kinda look like the vipers *****, . This pic does the vette a little more justice, but there is no comparing the two, the gts is such an amazing experience. The vette is a beginner sports car, easier to drive.

ha a beginners sports car.. a mustang is a beginners sports car. vette is a "girlie mans" sports car. dont get me wrong there are some really fast vettes out there that will toss viper *** but the styling...come on....looks like a long wheels base miata..

Without that "girlie mans" sports car the Viper would have never existed.

Nice pair! Your FE is quite the car. Best of luck! :2tu:

It does look feminine, and in my opinion, it is easier to drive than a real mustang, like an SVT for example.

Congrats on the FE!

Most Viper owners were Vette owners...

I had 2 Vettes and got rid of them both for the Snake. As far as brute Torque...there is NO comparision. Viper Rules!!!

Cool picture, but what is that ugly Black thing taking up Viper Space!!!??

Just kidding! :p

I actually bought my '97 GTS when I had a '97 C5. I thought I would keep them both. Well, I NEVER drove the Vette after that and sold it a year later!! :D

Get rid of the b^tch and start modding that gorgeous GTS!! :2tu:

Funny, I am trying to sell my 88 vette 383 stroker to get a Viper. I still think your vette is beautiful. I guess I am prejudice as I have the same colors.
Good Luck

Thanks to everyone for the kind welcome, I can't help but feel special about owning this ride, it's great to be able to converse with others in the same spot. The vette is gone and I can't say I miss it, I have a jeep and a civic as daily drivers. If I was ever going to won a vette again, it would be a late 60's stingray to keep my gts company. Maybe one day. As for modding, how do you find someone in your city who you can trust to work on your car? Should I stick with a Chrysler dealership?

Post where you are located and I'm sure there is a decent tech somewhere near you. You may also want to consider joining the club and talking to your local prez. as they can help you out a lot, IMHO.
