2001 Dodge Viper GTS - Dyno Results

Guys & Gals,

Hey! I thought some of you might be interested in knowing the results of the work that has been done to my 2001 Viper GTS. For those of you that don't know my car has been at Roe Racing since November 18. Before they took the car I had already installed B&B Headers, Corsa 3 inch & Cat-Delete pipes. Roe has installed a 10lb supercharger kit, heads, cam, forged pistons, roller rockers, pushrods, 70mm Throttle bodies, VEC2, performance PCM, water/**** injection, aluminum flywheel, centerforce clutch, half shafts rate to 800hp and a few other odds and ends. Sean and Dave dyno tuned and road tuned my car yesterday & today after already dyno'ing the car on the 20th. Dave informed me that the car is running very strong and is just making incredible power! This will by far be the fastest car I have ever driven/ridden in. My stock dyno numbers were:

405rwhp 440rwtq

After Headers and Exhaust
433rwhp 477rwtq

After the other little mods - supercharger etc..............

I have not gotten the car back. I will be leaving Dec 26 and hopefully be back in town a couple of days later. I cannot wait!

What pulley did they install with the supercharger ?

Congrats. i have the same exact mods incl 1 5/8 headers. did you go with 10lb pulley? crap i need to make a stop at ROE real soon....im ready for a 2200 mile round trip..

D your numbers under your sig are just slightly stronger than his so what gives, and the fact it was on a mustang dyno and i think was not means that you are quite ahead of him. very odd.

I asked Sean & Dave to make this car VERY driveable for everyday use should I want to do so. I have a 1997 T'Bird for a daily driver, but do not want ANY issues that cannot be handled rather easily. Perhaps the tune made a considerable difference?

i also have a cam which is good for a few ponies but i also detonate alot. sometimes more than others. guess need to pull more timing which will give less RWHP

Regarding timing. I recently started using the Roe software and have accumulated several VEC 2 programs from other Viper owners. Some of these owners have very similar if not identical set ups and I have noticed that the timing could not be more different between cars. On some the RPM timing graphs are the inverse of each other.

JB - I used Roe's Heads and the cam that they sell. I just told Dave to slap me a bad cam in that engine!
