2001 Suzuki GSXR-1000 pulls up beside me..

... There was even a Wendy's and a ******* at this track..

We leave a light as I'm heading home from the gym (There is a gym RIGHT by the track too!). Eating my protien bar in one had and driving with the other. My window is down and he snakes thru traffic trying to get beside me. He suprised me when he stopped at my door and wanted to run. I held my finger up in a motion that said in a minute let me finish eating my snack.. I'm still in 3rd gear going about 50 mph and I slowly get into it. Bike jumps ahead only a car length, by top of 3rd I close in oh him and by middle of 4th I'm dead even. We slow back down he flips his visor up and shakes his head....

I can't even drive either, my granny shifting didn't help and I wish I could learn how to shift fast enough so it's still under boost.. Oh well, I'll go back to the track and practice my shifts..

I once took down a 600 Suzuki Katata in my 5.0 days, off the bottle, we locally have a overhead bridge where everyone ummm, sightsees, is this how we keep these posts alive??

After hitting him by maybe half a car tops, we loop back to the birdwatchers, and he continues right over the overpass and leaves, leaving his buddies on the bridge, who quickly disbanded to catch up with their fallen comrade. I think the quote after I was approached for the race was something along the lines of "That dude in the 5.0 is gonna get his world rocked by Mikey"
Wins such as these make it all worthwhile, and it's the only one I'll share, as it's the only bike I have taken in my life, hopefully that'll change soon......

Gerald I sure bet it is a blast to drive your car!!! And to hang with a gsxr 1000 is no simple task when your in a car. Nice to know that "some" can hang with that 1000
