I just bought an 06 coupe and it is still completely stock. I want to put some exhaust and K&N on them. I like the look of the Corsa Track, but wondering how difficult to install. Is there any welding involved? If so, I will cut my losses and have them installed. Also, any suggestions on where to get the best deal for these items?

Thanks

I had Corsa track installed on my 06 vert by Roanoke Motors. It has a great sound to it. I prefer to have a pro install mods and Dave at Roanoke is the best.:2tu:

Don`t forget the rt cats with the corsa exhast to get rid
of most of the heat in the cabin. it`s possible to install
yourself, i did, but your going to need someone to tack weld
the exhast so it doesn`t move after install.:2tu:

Id go with the Corsa track, its by far the most popular exhaust, doesnt drone and has a nice tone. You will get more bark if you got to hi-flow cats or No cats. You'll also have alot less cabin heat if you get rid of the stock cats. Its not hard to install if you just follow the instructions in the "how to Guide" It doesnt require welding, but its a good idea to tack weld a few spots to help keep the exhaust from moving when it expands from the heat. Also a good sawz-all helps, rather then waste time trying to wiggle the crossover out of the rear, its easier to just cut it in a few spots and it falls right out.

Call Partsrack.com, they seem to have the best pricing on Corsa and Hi-flow cats.

CONGRATS on your 06 Coupe.....we have one as well.

We have quite a few customers who installed the Corsa themselves, on jackstands in their garage! A lift is a bonus. No cutting, no welding. No drone, no resonance. 125-135f cooler rear sills! All heat behind seast goes away. Saves 24 lbs weight. Corsa claims the new 2008-built systems we stock do not NEED the single tack-weld...but It cant hurt....

We have them IN STOCK for OE or HF cats, at a great price, ships same or next day, time zone matters. THANKS. Monday afternoons are GREAT!

Since you are bone-stock, we recommend at least a pair of HF air filters or a KN intake to get the most flow IN for your hi-flow exhaust.
