Re: 355/25/19\'s and a Paxton!
Suspension helps so much with traction. To give you an example, my 883 RWHP GTS does not/will not break loose in 2nd gear under full throttle when I had the Pilot Sport Cup tires on the rear. The Car squats too much and plants that power. I have been in Turbo cars that break loose long before my car does, and in effect that makes my car 'feel' faster to me.
The bad side is I have a bouncy-bouncy type of car, so it feels like a caddy driving down the road and you can forget about racing it around corners like you would a stock SRT-10.
Gonna see what one of the local tuners can do about lowering the car and stiffening it up (lordy, I can see it spinning in 4th gear when we are done.... sigh.) Look cool/Tight corners = lots of wheels spin or lots of wheel gap/leans a lot = lots of hook and insane straight line acceleration.
I now a lot of guys with blower cars dont care about turns as they run drag radials on the rears of their cars on the street -- I did that for one day and almost ran off the street in one particular turn. Crazy and no thanks.
