Have been waiting for a longtime for this. This particular car has not moved since they rolled it in to the showroom. Finally they dropped the price today to 85k.
Might see what else I might be able to work with....lol

Ya no problem. Funny thing is I told the salesman a year ago to let me know when he would sell it to me for 85k, he laughed at me. They dropped it to 85k today. It might even be gone by the time I get there tomorrow.
Which is fine, there will be more.

If anyone complains about the price of their Viper going down see above,lol..Where is this car located in Iceland? Is the Gen V this poor of a car. Iam thinking of pulling my Ferrari trade back on my GTS,lol....I cant believe a dealer or anyone would sell this car at 85K...even if its a 13. What the hell kind of mark-up is there in a Gen.5..Good for you if you get it but this dealer is crapping all over the Viper mark by selling at that price.
Plese tell all of us what options this GTS has....

Well, see if that's really the price when you get there. I just had a dealer experience with an advertised price that was good and with a make offer on it, I went in and made a close offer to the advertised price and they raised the price. I can't make this stuff up.

Lettuce know. lol

Lots of new '13 and '14 black Gen 5's on cars.com in the 80's and low 90's. Went to actual dealer websites and cars are still in stock and at prices shown on cars.com. Wow !

They sold the car 10 minutes before I got there. I talked to the guy who beat me to it, and he paid 85k on the head. They also sold the 14 GTS for 90k.
There will be plenty to go around shortly, it's only going to get better.

The funny part is watching folks still thinking the deals are going to get better. They can see the price drop, the big boost in sales and still want to hold out. If you want the car, go get one now. the 15's are the identical car, so if a car with the color and options exist in the country now, why would one wait? Only reason I can think of is wanting a conv, wanting one of the new colors.

I'll be happy to be wrong, but the sales aren't going to continue to be as brisk as they were in Sept. I think more will be sold but a lot of dealers will still be left holding cars.

A lot of '13 loaded GTS near me. If a dealer offered me $85k on one of them I'd be all over it. Not going to pay $100 for a combo not excited about (Which is half the problem now, combos people aren't in love with being whats left)

Prices will continue to drop as winter rolls up.

True. But it's only winter for 1/2 the country. Oh and all of Canada. Yeah Canada gets cold. Lol

I don't get it, don't you want a gen 5 or what is wrong with 85K? If I was in the market and the price changed from 138k to 85...I didn't need to go to the dealer, I pick up the phone and ask where to throw the money at him and make sure nobody beats me too it.
If you think the deals are getting better, wake up, this car was sold in a day due to the idiot price drop, why should any dealer drop any further..they can hold onto it for one day longer after 2 years!

That's not bad actually. Values have bottomed out. They hit a wall. The sky isn't falling. And in a few years when they stop making them they will start to rise. I hope Ford GT style. That's many years out, if at all. But all brands are going soft. This will be the last hard raw performance car made. Every other exotic brand is trying to include sedan and suv models in their lineup. Even the ******** versions have flappy paddles and dual clutch transmission. Time will tell.

well, duh. That's how dealerships work. Sell high, buy low. At least the successful ones.
