We just finished the final tune on our VOI display car. The numbers were impressive considering that this is a stock displacement engine with a production type camshaft. This car has some very unique features and will compete in the Silver State Classic 1 mile shootout after VOI.
:usa: Please come by our booth and check it out! :2tu:

Great job Dan!

What has been done to the engine besides the SC? Main caps crank, rods?

Thanks for the interest. This is a single supercharger application with an air to air cooler. The engine is supercharger specific. The vehicle was built for the street and track. The car was engineered as a whole and has some unique upgrades. We are especially proud of the cooling system. Even with a 1000hp this vehicle does not run hot,
even in hot weather under load.

Forget the HP, that car is super duper shiny! What type of car care products are on that bad boy?

Conrats Dan & crew. It's nice to see the West coast closing the gap on the East coast. :)

awesome numbers there Dan - that car is going to howl with one of the best top ends I've seen on a SC Viper. The car won't see less than 4000rpm in racing - and that will make it a hard act to beat.

Good luck with the racing program - if the air is cool - you may crack 200mph in the mile - let us know! :2tu:

Thanks all, we hope this car will do well in the 1 mile shootout. The driver is fearless and I am sure will let it all hang out once in top gear. What is amazing about this car is that it drives quite nicely in traffic and off throttle (AEM engine management and Chris Jensen tuning).

Joel, looking forward to meeting you again and having you see this special car we pepared!

On my way in a few hours. I've met that driver, you're right, put him behind a wheel or on two wheels, just no concept of fear or danger at all. In fact one cool dude  Thank goodness that car is prepared by DC Performance and Chris Jensen tuned

Dan, your website looks great! Is the cooling of the viper the ducing you have on your site the same one used on the above car? If so, I am looking to purchase one from you.

The ducting kit we sell is made by Roe Racing, it is the only way we can keep some track cars from overheating. The duct kit
on this vehicle was special as we relocated the radiator forward and tilted it down. We also sealed the duct so it force feeds the radiator at speed. We did not need to add additional fans on this vehicle as we removed the AC and put the oil cooler in the radiator. The air has a straight shot with any obstructions.
