95 viper heater

anyone have trouble with the heater on there viper? i just puchased a 95 rt10 this weekend and the fan blows but only cold air? i checked the hoses going in & out of the valve under the hood near the passanger firewall and both hoses where hot. is there a fuse or trap door that is not opening? thanks

Are you SURE that the controls are set correctly...turn the three knobs to the right (clockwise) for heat...as this is the most common answer to the question...next, make sure that the control cable is connected to the water valve (commonly comes off on Gen II's more than Gen I's)...then consider the other things mentioned.

He says hoses on both sides of the valve are hot.

Last year my heater was only blowing cold air..... Took the car to Tators for some work (updated headgaskets and a few other things) and it turned out to be a stuck thermostat. Chuck installed a new 180 degree stat and now the heater gets really hot.
