So that's what the removal tool looks like. I read about it but mine didn't come with one. Can you buy this anywhere?

Home Depot paint can lid removal tool works well. I have never used the OEM tool and its still in the wrapper.

Count me in on this one. I bought a new in plastic owner's manual set in leather cover, but it was missing the tool. Where, if anywhere, do they sell the factory part?:nono: I'm just one of those obsessive people who "needs" to have every original piece.:dunno:

I got to thinking, I have never come across this piece, either.
I read this post with great interest as I'd like to have one as well, just to have.
Then I went out to the garage and low and behold, there it was, tucked way down in the jack pouch.
I suggest that before you order one you all do the same. For those who really don't have it the part number on mine is: 4708167.

i did the same thing. i might buy another one to use because a screw driver even with a rag around it can still scratch as i found out the hard way. :mad:
