\'96 GTS Extended Warrantee Question

Currently my GTS is covered under the DaimlerChrysler Service Contract (7/50 Maximum Care). It will expire soon and I am curious what are my options as far as extending the warrantee. Can I sign up for another service contract with DaimlerChrysler? If so, are the rates the same amoungst dealers or should I shop around?

Any help would be appriciated.

I just extended the warranty on my '96 B/W about three months ago. The old warranty had expired but that did not matter. There is a limit on how old a car can be and still get the extended warranty from DC but I do not know the exact date they use for a cutoff. I bought a 4 year, 40,000 mile max care warranty from Chuck Tator. He gives a discount(I think 25%) to VCA members. I would definitely buy from a Viper friendly dealer who will stand behind you if you have problems in the future. I would definitely recommend the extended warranty for piece of mind. It also seems to help resale if that situation ever comes up.
